well if that's your way of asking about draft strategy i will happily share 2 train of thoughts.... 1 i dont think its ever smart to completely not put any money toward gaining draft points. Even if its the min amount scouting points NEVER dont have value. Think about this is you were the top 3 team in the league for 5 seasons and never spent a point on draft but always put 1 point towards it each week of the season you'd have at least 50 points!

Second train of thought is to not spend any money on the draft ever really. Some people think that its a coin clip anyway if you pick outside the top 3-4 picks so why invest money on points when you could use that money to fund a better staff member, player, or increase arena size. For example if you put 5k (1 point) NOT toward the draft after 10 weeks you'd have 50k which would allow you to add 250 seats to your arena which if you sold 100% of would mean 2500 more in gate revenue. Add that with the 5k you're not spending on draft and you'd be +$7500 every other season which as we know means better chance of having more good players on your roster.

Nice of you to step up and warn people from following the mistakes you regularly put on display.

I don't spend a dime. I would rather take the $$$ I save and see what 18yr old is out there and purchase him.

I used to not spend any money, but now, I want homegrown players due to the bump you get in merchandise sales. Now I spend money, but don't spend the points, and won't until I know I'm gonna have a top 3 pick. Then I'll spend every point and get the best player in the draft, and probably get 2 high quality, homegrown trainees

I have seen that often as well. I should have mentioned that one. Some manager save the money all completely and would rather look to purchase the 18 or 19 years that show up on the market following the draft. This strategy has 1 huge pro... In that you see what exactly you are getting and can manipulate it to fit what your current training strategy is. The Con is that even if you purchase and then train that player you dont get the same merchandise boost you would if that player was drafted by you. Some would consider that marginal but i make HUGE $ on merchandise by having Tommy & Joe both drafted and trained by me.

Well I must say i didn't expect my team to win on Saturday.. I played it as TIE and played 10 players 5 starters and 5 bench. I did guess his tactics but only as an attempt to keep the game close so that i could continue to hold the PD against the 5th, 6th place team on the Blue side. And somehow we won. Great performances from everyone led by Tommy. Also the franchise would like to say farewell and good luck to 3 sound players 1 starter and 2 bench contributors. Their sells will go a long way in continue to move this team forward.

You can add an extra 26k to that. Another one of my players bites the dust..
