wow. Tonights matchups were huge for the Great 8's bottom feeders. I needed a win to jump to 4th but we couldn't keep Carmona from coming up with big shots. I did rotate my linup around at the 1-2 spot and it showed tremendous promise. Goats lose to the Investors moving the Goats to 8-13 and a -150 PD.
Bangerz needed Goats to lose a win but failed to finish off the one team that lacks potential ... or in reality, they have a lot of Potential to be the one team to pull off an upset in the playoffs. Unfortunately, they will need the All-Stars, Goats, and Bangerz to all lose the next week and will need a HUUUUUGEEEE Point Difference shift to leap over the All-Stars.
Ron Swanson All-Stars leapfrogged the Goats and Bangerz with their easy victory over the ozanp (whhaaaaa??).
All-Stars jump to 4th.
Goats remain at 5.
Bangerz drop to 6.
No Potential's victory will leave them at 7.
All three teams need the other three teams to all lose Saturday to make the playoffs. If the Goats win and the other three lose, then Goats go the playoffs. Unfortunately we face off against the Blasters and the probability of winning goes out the window. Considering that I face the Blasters and that the Bangerz/All-Stars matchup cannot produce a dual-loser unless No Potential reduces his PD gap by a VERY VERY WIDE margin, then my Goats are mathematically out of contention. I'm hoping that Candia can move on happily.
No Potential faces ozanp and likely will see the biggest change in their PD after they pull off the walk-off homerun.
Bangerz face off against Ron Swanson. The All-Stars have the better PD. This is a "Win or Go Home" situation for both teams. They will need ozanp to keep the game close against No Potential.
No Potential Outlook
-- 18 points behind Bangerz
-- 55 points behind All-Stars
They have a better shot of leapfrogging if the Bangerz can keep the game close and win than if the All-Stars were to win.
