You're way better than your opponent. Even Patient would have worked. :p

Thanks for the advice, tomorrow I'll try Low Post to see how it's gonna go. Next thursday I'll make some adjustments to the lineup and see If I can make patient work.

This is a scrimmage but, my PF has a higher JS than my other starters. He had a monster game. A lot of shots tho....... http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/38950354/boxscore.aspx

Agree. I had a Patient game today in PL just to see who's right in this thread. And also to see if that's a tactic I'd like to use in the future because of solid offensive flow. Match: (36137718)

So what happened was my SF Zorin took most of the shots, even a lot of 3s, even though he has JS 13 and JR 6. Despite having DR 14, he didn't take this opportunity and almost half of his shots were 3s.

Then opponent's first PG got injured and my PG Polh, who is JS 11 and JR 9, started taking most shots. As you see, he was much better than Zorin but then again, he had much less competition in opponent's backup PG. He has DR 12, but didn't drive much and ended up taking a lot of 3s, hitting 3 of them.

Conclusion:

Even if your player's JR is bad, he will still take a lot of 3s if he's chosen by GE as the go-to guy.
He won't drive a lot even if he has better DR than shooting.
If you have two equally good players, GE will distribute shots among them based on what the opponent's defensive player looks like for each of those two players of yours.
HA and PA is very important and you can get a lot of fouls off of this.
In this game, PG: HA 12, PA 11
SG: HA 11, PA 10
SF: HA 13, PA 12

I sitll have to try Patient with a SG on PF or C spot.

Well yes and no. I use pat all the time and it works but it ill hurt your other players playing numbers, its very good vs 2-3 and Li DOnt play man to man vs a team playing 2-3 andLook inside or post playing. u have to play pat and box zone.. also remeber to have your sg and sf with high Js and jR or some near respectable or strong. make sure your point guard can pass and hande the ball well.. your team will pass the ball around to find a exploit it could everyone making a ton of shots till your team is consistant. I had 3 players take 22 shots once.

I woulds also recoommnd running game shape 1 wk- 2wks before that game. If you know that thier style of play ahead of time. Your sg / sf combo will open up your pf or center if they are good . your sg or sf will have 30+ point or more gaurenteed. You should win if your defense holds up. which mines did .. Il lpost the game up for you and everyone to see.The team was unbeatend and doggn everyone at the time.I gave then their only lose i think. this season so far.

I was your opponent during that PL. I don't know if it matters my SF during that game was actually my starting Center. I don't know if the GE engine calculates the opponents ID that is why your SF didn't drive. Zorin went 0-11 from three point range even if my Center had virtually crappy OD.

Played Patient yesterday http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/36558574/boxscore.aspx my PG actually was taking most of the shots at first (and drove to the basket quite a lot) even if my sg had someone very poor guarding him.

Both teams played patient, so for one of them these tactic had to work very well ;-)
