Both of the beasts I brought in for the Team Akuma game are now gone and luckily after taxes I made small profits on each that helped ease the financial cost of their salaries for the week that they were on my roster

The dynamics of the competition will change after this week as it is likely that no Div 2 teams will be left in the cup after this coming Thursday.

By the end of the season I expect to sell off 3 fringe players and if the right players come on the market I just might buy another 2 starters and sell off 2 of my existing starters

In recent seasons the Big 8 has won more of the cross over games than the Great 8 only to lose the Allstars game.

This season the Great 8 has 8 more wins than the Big 8, could this be an omen that the Big 8 will win the Allstars game?

The Mangoloids have made an interesting play which I suggest might indicate their desire to promote.

Obviously they are a threat given their position on the ladder with a relatively cheap roster but now they have placed Taua Kemp (25989920) their Under 21 Australian representative on the market, assumably to get a decent size war chest ready for finals time

Okay he is unlikely to see for 2.5 mill but it is interesting to check out his skills

You will probably notice that I have 3 of my better players up for sale.

There is a short profile on each player in the "Bid up you buggars" thread in the Wombat Federation.

Why the sale of such important players?

Perhaps Im just thinking about taking it easy for a while and focusing on collecting achievement points

Refer Aris's figures last season (Whilst in Div 2 - Please notice all the 14s)

He is definately a better 6th player than what Akuma has at the moment

Buddy and in particular Wa Ming Chung would have some value in Div 3 and 4

Good luck to all of you "win at all cost managers" who are intent in promoting out of this lovely league, as I have repeatedly stated HA is primarily focusing on training this season.

Wiith Williams in the U21s for the next season and a half , Ryder still vying for selection and Palmeri an outside chance for next seasons U21s, I feel obliged to sacrifice any personal ambitions for the good of the Australian representative teams

I can't tell which talentless benchwarmer you added, maybe one of the "Great division II standard backups" who has single figure OD?

Just one other question Sid.

How do guys like this help with your training?

Im hanging onto Riviera so as to avoid any tanking accusations and also for the enjoyment of all Managers in the league who still want to have some opposition and dont just want one sided wins
