How about merging Africa and Central America in the first step, look how it works and reevaluate afterwards? Even if it fails, the damage done is minimal.

OK the grouping of middle east is as follow :

Lebonan : 4 users
Iran : 56 users
Saudi Arabia : 8 users
U.A.E : 10 users
Pakistan : 0 user
India : 17 users

That brings it up to 95. So it would be DI, DII, and 15 teams spread in the 16 DIII divisions ? Who would be put in DI ? Based on world rank ? I don't see what's that going to achieve. It's like a circle you know ! 95 users combined, many of which will leave if the merge takes place, and we're back to around 60 users maybe (the number that Iran has almost), and back to square one.

The communication problems would be catastrophic. We speak Farsi, I don't know what language India speaks, U.A.E and Saudi Arabia speak Arabic which I don't speak a word of, I have no idea of the language of Lebanon, and Pakistan speaks some kind of Farsi I think which is mostly different from Iran's Farsi. As you can see, many Iranians can't speak English well either. So it would be pretty much like Utopia forums

Now I can't even begin to tell you about the cultural differences. Frankly, most Saudis and Arabs don't like Persians and Iranians, and it goes the same way around. Many Iranians don't like Saudis and Arabs. It's not Racism or anything, this goes back to many different issues that has happened in real life, and are still happening now. I know you're gonna say that this is an online game, but you have to be a part of one of these countries to understand what I'm talking about.

Also, there are 6 countries in this Middle East grouping, While five of them combine for 39, Iran stands at 56 and really it feels like they are intruding in our leagues if this were supposed to take place.

I understand those real world issues - Israel is a part of Europe when it comes to football... Pretty silly considering the regional disconnection, but if some people want to hate each other, who am I to judge... It would be nice if in BB those idiotic stereotypes would not be applied...

To be honest, if those real world issues are a problem in this game we are probably better off without those users/countries.

I would not want to share my hobby with people holding an eternal grudge against each other.

I'm pretty sure I can kick you team's ass (which is doing quite well in Spain DII) with my team, which is on the verge of being relegated from DI in Iran.

I think its not too hard to understand- religion sucks and in a few hundred years everything will look different. Catholics and Protestants get along pretty well now. But religion and politics have no place in an online game.
