Yeah, definitely lucky tonight once again.

On the bright side for me, at least all my players will be back on the court for my next game. Just got to get all their GS back up to starter quality and make a run to the finals. 2 losses hurts but probably could have been worse considering my luck with injuries this season...

I used to do All-star team predictions in my previous league.

So using all my wisdom and knowledge and previously 100% record of incorrect predicitions i present:
My predicitions for starting 5 members of the All-star teams for Australia II.3

Big 8
C - Tough choice first up for the first position, probably go with Fu Yuanhui from NOR.
PF - Alcide Groppo Gotta have dibs on my own player right? Top scoring PF in the league and has pretty good rating in the league (ok so this will more likely be Bartug Canpolat from STO).
SF - Again, quite tough as nobody on this side of the division has a really dominent SF, Michael Woodbridge is probably the best.
SG - Im liking Moe Alleyne for this one.
PG - Ido Verlaine from NOR.

Great 8
C - Guriy Batyushkov from VIO
PF - Ross Underwood (he is averaging 39 ppg. nice!)
SF - Thad Whittington from the Rangas
SG - Rod Goldstein from VIO - Good scoring SG with a nice rating.
PG - Apolonio Calugas from da Crockers! beter PG rating and 3rd ( i think) in assists.

and the winner of the game? Go Big 8 :)

Nice effort Regan. I'd be very surprised to see Underwood line up at PF for the G8 though. He's actually a PG that Lordy plays out of position, in order to get the OD mismatch. Also a lot of my players have been injured and as a result have played all over the place. Goldstein is actually my starting SF but did fill in prior to his own injury.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the selectors go about their work this season. without the injuries, I'd have been pretty confident 3 of my starters would have looked pretty good for a spot in the ASG. Not really sure who will get the call up now though.

Anyone else interested in the skills of MMMs latest pickup? Huge salary!

Yeah it's kind of scary to see a SF with that kind of salary.
I'm glad he bought him AFTER I got to play him tho. I definitely would not have won... :P

ASW, I doubt any of my players would get in. tho i'd love to see Gab Wall get a run at PF, maybe off the bench.

I couldn't find anyone in time to unleash them on you. It has taken a long time to replace the SF I sold at the start of the season. I think I paid well under his value.

2/5 for the Big 8. 3/5 for the Great 8. Not a bad effort.

Well there you go, still managed to get 3 starters and Goldstein is lining up at SG. He's also managed to snag a spot in the 3-point contest, first time I think I've had a contestant before. Doubt he's got the goods to take it out but glad he made it in at least!

Great 8 looks the goods but ASG can go either way. Bring it on!

I was surprised at granger getting in but I guess the rebounds got him through...

I expect his atrocious OD to get him fouled out rather quickly though :)
