This post is incredibly inaccurate. According to this guy's educated guess http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=2009011517262... (Hell, why wouldn't I look this up? :D ) crickets begin to die at about 40 degrees. Since this is answers.com, we all know the information is 100% valid. Anyway, the temperature in your igloo that night was -11 degrees, you liar! THE CRICKETS WOULD HAVE DIED.

Also, I'm going to lodge another formal complaint: you guys gotta clean up after your damn moo... wait, how do you say that plural? 1 sec... (goes to answers.com http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=2008051821450... Ahhh, looks like its just moose. I personally think it should be meese, but the English language is just so messed up. You guys are lucky you all speak French ;) That's beside the point though. Anyway, I could not walk anywhere without stepping in moose business. I say we hire Boss to clean up after them ;)

DREAM SHAKERS BACK IN DIV II - GRAB LEAGUE III.7 TITLE

After 2 seasons away, The Dream Shakers are once again moving on up.
Thanks to a terrific team effort in the final 17 minutes, the Shakers proved that they are more than just a one man wrecking crew.
Playing without 2 time league MVP Beñat Briceño over the final 17 minutes, The Shakers didn't merely hang on, they pulled away without their star.
Briceño bogged down by foul trouble, was 12-14 from the field, adding 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 5 blocks before taking his 6th foul with more than 17 minutes to play and the Shakers up by 9.
Agatino Taglierini scored 18, and Canada's Doug Collins 14 as the Shakers swept the 2 games from the Quebec Pugs much to the delight of the sold out Dojo.

The Award Show

Award today: Pursuit of Perfection

Welcome back to another BB Canada div III award show. Today we are crowning the most perfect division III manager. Requirements? To stay perfect. Not only through the regular season, but the playoffs too. Here to announce the nominees are: Beener, damian13ser, BlackLabel and Headless T Gunner. Please welcome them to the stage.

Beener: "Well these teams were able to succeed in promoting. Lucky fool, I lost by 2 in game 3, im livid!"

damian13ster: "I would imagine we were supposed to stick to the script Beener.."

Headless T Gunner: "Am I looking the right way?"

BlackLabel: "I don't think it matters for you."

Beener: "How are you talking?"

damian13ster: "*sigh* I will stick to the script I guess. The Pursuit of Perfection requires teams to stay perfect throughout the regular season and the playoffs. Since multiple teams have succeeded in that it comes down to: league strength, PD, and how much money we get bribed. Anyways here are the nominees:

Mahatma Kane Jeeves Esq.: "They are all good competitiors and just to get this far is a victory for them. They are all winners."

Mod-Bballin: "Well lets get to the opening of the envelope. This usually takes a while."

Mahatma Kane Jeeves Esq.: "Why, they do not even close it properly. Just open the flap."

Mod-Bballin: "Oh theres a flap!"

Mahatma Kane Jeeves Esq.: *shakes head*

Mod-Bballin: "Ok well the winner this season is.... manager bballjones56 and his team Webfoots! Come on up here bballjones56!"

*clapping*

Webfoots went 22-0 this season with one of the highest PD and cruised through the playoffs without struggle. Truely a great season.

bballjones56: "Well at age 56, I thought any chances of success were gone. Then when this award was introduced to div III I was striving for this. This one is for my grandkids, this shirt is pretty dope right Jack and Tom?"

Mod-Bballin: "Ok well thanks for joining us everybody! Until next season this Mod-Bballin."

Mahatma Kane Jeeves Esq.: "And this is Mahatma Kane Jeeves Esq. Wow I do need a nickname."

Mod-Bballin: "Peace out Canada!"

Just as a side note: I was truly honored to be asked to co-emcee the above event. I must say the request came out of the blue and at the last minute. The original co-emcee wasn't able to make it - something about attending a superbowl event of some kind. Anyways, seeing that I was the only one who actually answered his phone, I was easily enticed about winning some kind of award and having a date with BBalljones56's sister. (OK - so I haven't had a date in months).

I wasn't given an award - guess Mod-Bballin forgot - oh yeah, I also saw BBalljones56's sister (she actually shaved her mustache for the event) - so she took me to a Chinese restaurant - she paid. Next thing I remember - I was staggering out of an alley half-naked, was arrested and booked for indecent exposure. :(

Ah well - season 19 is starting this coming week - so I guess there is still hope. By the way I am looking forward to next season's award ceremony - maybe BBalljones56's sister will tell me what happened or at least show me the photos.
