I get the feeling our NT is being run based on what you would do.

Paranoid much???? Who are these PGs you are talking about?
Tagawa? Swoosh already explained that one....Tagawa has an awful ID. Hell, I tried to buy Tagawa to come off my bench, but I surely wouldn't start him. In fact, I start Martis, an old FCTB PG.
I faced many of these in the b3 over 3 seasons. In that time I put out the best result ever in active nippon teams.

I gave you props for that but it is all about the draw, and drawing a 11K and a 26K ranked teams must have been nice.
But you made the Final 16...Props well earned.
If our team is only doing what you would do this season. Then maybe besided setting the strategies yo uwould set, it is also getting the results you would, hockey sticks. Consider the possiblity that your theory is mistaken.

Hey...I think you slipped and hit your head. I DON'T RUN THE NT TEAM!!! I like rebounding at the SF spot just like about 20K other users. Are they running the NT team too????
I told you about my theory, and to run my theory, you have to have two 19 rebounders and a beast(14IS,15ID,13+REB) at SF.
I do know this, the possession after an OREB is juiced(better % of it going in) and they lead to tip ins which = easy buckets or fouls. This is what a lot of teams are doing. The reason is not to many people have 12+ ID at the SF spot if they have a PG/SF there. And the mismatch of a 15 IS on a 9 ID while running LI is much better than a 15 JS 12 JR hitting a three while running LI. And 99% of people run LI.

And this was my strategy....While running LI and defending LI.....How many three are shot on average? Maybe 12, 15 at the high end. So the missmatch will never be outside,(unless LI isn't run) but it will be the 15 IS at SF going against a weak ID while RUNNING LI. The GE is about mismatches. And rebounding is an easy one to exploit. And this isn't only my idea...Many people have this idea.

I only blank in games I know I will win...

I would rather have

I get the feeling our NT is being run based on what you would do.

Wins the award for the most superfluous and inane comment in this thread thus far.
WHO ELSE do you think should make the decisions for the NT, other than the NT manager???

Dear god Wolph, you want to run the NT... run against Swoosh next time. But if you manage to win, please don't tag your name with a "(Nippon NT)"...

I was actually enjoying this thread this season because it didn't have a bunch of , MY PLAYER THIS and MY PLAYER THAT

I think I have shown amazing control this season considering the situation.

LA-Izaman even though I don't agree with some decisions overall you are doing a great job, keep it up.

My issue is that he should think hard about how much weight he puts into YCs advice.

It's not my advice.....What are you talking about?

Swoosh and I disagree...how boring would it be if we didn't?

Err... point of fact: he is the NT manager. You aren't. THUS... if he's following his own thoughts (SHOCK! HORROR!), it's completely <expletive deleted> irrelevant WHAT you think.

I didn't really concern myself with the one man self-appointed award giving commitee...but if I am winning awards, its only natural.

What on earth does that even mean?

I'm not trying to rile you up...
I'd have no problem with what you're saying if it were "I think that...". But it's not: it's "You have to..." and "You're wrong..."
Dude, he's the NT guy. Not you.

At the end of the day, Swoosh can take whatever's written here - by you, me or anyone else - and implement it... or not.
It's his call. I'm a bit shocked that you're being no less opinionated and anti-current-NT-manager as you were when BB King was running the show.

The main thing i am trying to do with the NT team is transition from the age of one one dimensional players you unger better overall trained players.

The "win at any cost" NT strategy is a bit of the problem so far.

The NT mins are a "reward" for having one of the best 12 trained players with good game shape.

Our team is lacking in areas. This is no surprise.

as for our team being better than the results, we could continue running 32 year olds with holes and then take a beating when their skills start droping by running with our young players...

...or we could start running our younger players now.

To me its an easy choice. Run the younger guys. We have a hiccup this season, so be it. But it will pay off. The idea of running 32/33 year olds while we have 25/26 year olds taking training is not in accordance to my ideals.

The best way to help the NT team is to pick up a high potential kid in the draft and train him, or pick up a high potential guy from the been and finish him off.

As for Kyoto Shogun, i can understand his position. He has solid bigs that played well last NT season. But i then even he realizes that the shelf life of those guys is near the end.

Ill put it this way. Not making the 2nd round wouldnt be the end all be all for every thing. But i can guareentee that the job of the next NT coach (if it is not me) will be easier because of the decisions i made this season. Our core young players from this year are clearly more well rounded. And with the use of a new game engine coming, this can only be a benefit.

So, i suppose this is how i handle the "heat" of being the NT coach. I will say this much. There is no manager in Japan carry as much Japan NT salary as I am. So all I can say for those with issues, put your money where your mouth is.

Having a Japanese NT player is a bargain compared to other countries. We should be mindful of this and look to correct this problem...cause Japan aint gonna touch Taiwan, Hong Kong, or China being cheap.

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

Allow me to... RETORT
Mr Cymru NT.

Who told you this or did you make it up? I disagree completely.

I am telling you that I am EXTREMELY confident tha tyou are completely wrong on this point.

As a matter of fact...what is the point of positions at all if all the stats across positoin were/are exactly equivalent

most teams you will find out there are actually just running without SFs. Hence the complete lack of understanding about what the SF does.

I get the feeling our NT is being run based on what you would do.
Your theory on RB rains supreme. Your theory on blanks reins supreme. Are you really the best manager in BB history?

I get the feeling this is about it being the only opinion that matters

I am just seeing a team losing and telling you what I think is wrong.

I know

I know

I know

I know

I know

I know

Ad infinitum...

Dude... it's not about what you think. On a consistent basis, the NT manager (and not just *this* one) has told you "ok-but-I-disagree"... let it go.
It's one thing to present opinion, it's another to attempt to ram it down someone's throat.
I think you sometimes miss the distinction.
