I need to get photoshop onto my new computer. I've been meaning to do this. I want to change the u21 banner too...but only crappy graphical programs on this computer. Give me $50 and I'll get on it though.

We should set up a Facebook page. I think somebody already made one; but if we had a more official one and everyone helped spread the word around BB and invited friends I think it could really help a lot

Edit: Also an idea another website used was to have a competition for all the users to create their own video promoting the site and post it on YouTube. The winner got a few months of Premium which is like supporter...

The first step is to get them in the game. The second is to get them on the forums so they can converse with experienced managers and read the FAQ.

I think that is the reason why Spain and Italy have so many users because they enjoy the game more than Americans and don't lose so many teams to bot inactivity.

Why do they enjoy the game more? They still do lose teams due to inactivity. I feel that the Italians have a much more active forum than we do in our USA one which is something the BB's are working to change with their "Forum experiment".

Notice too that their lower and middle divisions are much tougher than America's.

That comes from having more members which makes the leagues more competitive which is what we're trying to achieve w/ "Operation Organized Spam". Perhaps instead of just posting Buzzerbeater in your various forums if you partook in the active posting that I illustrated you can help us out to a greater degree and bring more members in. I hope it's okay if I post here even though I'm not American ...

But yes, it's a good idea. It's not very difficult to create a flier ... and this communication tool is kind of cheap. Indeed, anyone can print on a piece of paper and broadcast the fliers anywhere : American, Brazilian, French, Thai, Indian and so on, each country will be able to promote BuzzerBeater in an off-line aspect. As matter of course as long as they respect legal conditions.

I know that the BB-community counts several talented graphic artist, why don't you create a competition design with two separated aspect :
1) The message
Ex : Never dreamed of beating the buzzer like the greatest basketball players of the history ?
Join Buzzerbeater, the biggest FREE online basketball management game ...
... And help the American national team to the road to the World Cup !

2) The design
Ex : I've no example to give as I'm the worst graphic artist that ever existed on earth !

What do you guys think ?

If anyone wants to make fanart for BB, I'll be happy to put it up on a site I'm working on (www.ggmonster.com). I will probably be putting up a review of BuzzerBeater within the week there.

Update: The review is up you can access it at http://www.ggmonster.com/2010/05/buzzerbeater-online-game-review/...feel free to share/like/stumble/digg it...since that will make the page available to more people.
