You lose too many away games, so you have a bad fan survey just before economy update. What level is your PR managers. Do you actually know how much the lower placed teams make? Perhaps few teams have great merchandising thus driving up the average. Have you asked everyone what is their merc income and lvl of their pr managers?

I've changed PR from 1 to 3 trying to increase the merchandising, no result. About lose the match, when I was in first division usually I've lost away and won the home matches, no one players in NT (only Estoa but at the end) and my merchandising was about 20k week above the average. The average income of my division is 60k/week, I'm 40k/week, I know the merchandising of the others cause we would like to understand better how it can works and I can tell you that I'm one of the worst with the most expensive roster. With this 20k/week I could pay the salary to another player and this could help me for the cup, honestly I don't know where is the problem with my merchandising

Merchandising is about quality of the players not the salary. My salary is not even near yours, because you overpay a lot from uneven skill levels. My merchandising is at 43k atm. I disagree about the pr manager. Ask around, what level pr your leaguemates have (if they really want to tell you). I would not help my division mate to earn more money btw. With low signing fees and low salary, PR manager is the only staff that really pays for himself. You could also raise your arena prices with higher pr manager.

I agree that there is no evidence about it. It's my insight on merchandising, just like multiskilled lower salary players outplay single skill monsters on the court.

Believe me I'm the only one having pr 3, the others have lvl 2 or 1, pr seems not so cool in italy
About the quality vs salary, I agree even if I think I've quite good players. At the end if you see we are talking about possibilities there is no one sure explanation about why you earn 43k and I'm earing 42k; I'd like clear rules about it, I hope this is not one of the ancient secrets of BB related to the GE and an answer if a bug could be possible (I don't think so but dunno what I can do).

PS: I had a PR lvl 5 with the old system, I keeped him one season and half, when I fired him I didn't see any difference but this is only my personal experience with him

Because my overall salary in my league at 10-th. Although I rank a lot better than 10-th. If we take a look at starting 5 or highest 10 salary players I'm even further comparing the totals + I'm pretty sure I'm neting the most money per week. So that's what I am baseing my guess on.
BTW I scout transferlist a lot. I have a SF with 14k salary that outplays a lot of SF's with 30+ salary, thus I think (with neither of them being on NT or drafted by their current team or being from the same nation and with same PR manager lvl) he will net me a bit more merchandise than that 30+ salary guy. Additionally he actually nets me 16+ aswell from salary difference.

Well if we are talking about GE I fully agree with you but here we are talking about money and no one seems to know the answer. From my point of view GE is one thing, economy (even if strickly related to GE) is another thing, is bad to see that someone earn more money than you doing... nothing. Anyway if you're sure there is no bug on my merchandising this is enough for me ;)

I think it's a bit harder than you give it credit for. I guess it's a complex formula with weighting players status on the team, league leaders, nationality, NT, PR manager, drafted by.
If you think it's so easy why don't you do it? I think it's not really worth it. You can not draft 5 players, train them all to NT and that way maximize your merchantising. You might want to buy player from your country instead of foreigner, if the players are equal, but then again, how many times does that opportunity present itself?
