All of the major trades/signings with LA over the past 2 decades, no-one's heard about them until they're done.
LA are pretty good at keeping stuff quiet.

I guess my point is, if there was any truth to it, it'd probably already be done.
True! I always asked myself: "How come one of the biggest franchise in the NBA manage to be so inconspicuous?"... It may be one of the things that explains their success. "Great honors are great burdens".

Since when does the media base anything on truth? If analysts arent overanalyzing, they may just be out of a job. My guess is, Melo stays in Denver for the year. No one wants to give up what the Nuggets want for what amounts to a 3 month rental.

Love the way the Lakers have played the last two games. Just thought I'd share.

Some interesting games coming up, Orlando hosting the Lakers for one... but none bigger than Miami traveling to Boston.

I think Boston win, but by single digits.

Did you see the Wade-to-LeBron alley-oop? (http://www.bloguin.com/with-malice/articles/nba/im-about-...)
That, was something special.

Which one are you talking about? This one? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQiZqdbuvJY).

Wade just threw the ball like a quarterback! Nice!

What a great day!

Sun's shining, Boston stick a fork in their own foot, and both Miami and Boston lose!

You do hate both teams, don't you?

I'm a Lakers fan. It's expected.

Actually, part of the fun of being a fan is the "hating on other teams"... but only in fun. There's no vitriol involved in it for me.

One of my very good friends is a Boston fan, and he sometimes even writes at my site (a Lakers fan-site)...
Actually: here's his thoughts on the trade - (http://with-malice.com/articles/nba/perk.html)

So... Troy Murphy's headed to Boston, huh?

In my opinion, I still don't think that they're as good as they were a week ago. Murph helps, but he doesn't help where they are now thinnest. At the C spot against a strong interior presence.
That's fine if they never meet Orlando/LA/San Antonio (should we include OKC there?)...

Miami pretty confident about signing Bibby - they've cut Arroyo.

LA vs Minnesota...

I don't really think the T-Wolves can win the game, but it will be interesting to see if they can shut Kevin Love - they were the last team to stop him from getting a double/double.
