You can let him as a pure PG in your team ,and if you use a lot of inside tactics,like look inside or Low post,the PG will get more assistants than other tactics.If you like to use outside tactics,such as run and run or princeton,I think your PG will try to make more shots.

A "pure PG" will be very effective with Patient as well, if you field at least one decent outside shooter.
