Welcome to BB, from a former member of league V.72 (still the best damn Division 5 league in teh USA!).
Just wanted to point out that the offensive tactic you chose, patients, it what led Paige to attempt so many shots. In Patient, your team tries to fine the player who has the biggest mismatch against his defender, and then that player will take a TON of shots. If you want a more balanced type of offense, where the shots taken will be more spread out, then you could try base offense, or even inside isolation (which is a little more biased towards inside shots than base, but not much actually).
Paige's turnovers could have been because his handling or passing skills were a bit low, or perhaps just because he had the ball so often.
Just holler out if you have other questions. I'm always happy to help new users get their feet. A good place to start is the FAQ here:
(144856.1)Look to schedule a scrimmage for next week, which you can do between Friday and Tues (I think). they're useful mostly for training players, but also for testing tactics. During the normal season, I wouldn't suggest playing your starters in scrimmages much.
Welcome again!
