Actually, you'd probably be fine. I see you're making a big expansion and I don't know what your merch and roster composition, etc would be. I was using myself as a gauge and discounted that my merch is way lower than average and arena lower than average, but a good portion of that is because of my managerial choices.

My arena is not going to be as big as yours but it should be ok. My merchandise is pretty poor unfortunately, but it would increase with him on board. I would probably lsoe one of my centers if I bought him (wouldnt be much of a savings though since my subs suck. I still believe that I should make it without losing money, especially since I might cut my roster if I find myself not having enough time to compete (starting june it's very probable)

Having one player $100-120 isn't even a problem in D2., it just depends how much salary you want to have left for the rest of your roster. It's definitely not an issue in D1.

His salary would be $700k with him, almost $430k at PF/C alone, if he kept his roster as is. I would be losing money with a $700k salary right now. Again, I was thinking mostly of me and I'm adverse to losing money. IF he was losing money (wouldn't be, especially if he planned on selling an extra big man), it might not be of any concern for him.

Yeah, you'd definitely be okay with him then.

I'm not devising some scheme to score Worley here btw. I'd attempt to buy him if he was ridiculously cheap, but there's really no chance of that. I think it'd take an overpay.

I am not going to overpay for him since I dont have money :D but I am going to cut my roster a bit after advancing. Anyway, we will all see how it turns out. Whether I will have internet on my trip or not

700k salary is affordable, but only a handful of teams can sustain that level of salary
it screws up your teams long term growth if you make no additional income on top of just paying the salary

Don't worry about it boys, I'm going to keep him and become a farm team. I like the training aspect of this game, but my personality is too impulsive to effectively manage a team to the top. Kind of wishing I hadn't just fired all my recent high salary acquisitions in my pique, but them's the breaks.

Y'all heard it here first - Worley is going to become one of the greatest passing big men in Buzzerbeater history! He's getting straight PG training next season, which I can afford as it meshes with my plan to tank and use up all my draft points from this season. Also should avoid his capping. The real test will be keeping afloat in Div III with his salary...

canada needs more managers like you. managers who focus on making their star guy a better all round player for the benefit of the country. good job.

Next season i hope to be in DII (only 3 more wins away) and will be in the market for a big tiime canadian player. I have a bunch of scouting points saved up knowing i will likely finish in the bottom of the standings in DII. I hope to get the best guy in the draft and/or hope to pick up a highly trainable guy who already had some good skills similar to Bergman.

I bought a 71k centre the other day at 265k for the sole purpose to put on the TL. so hopefully with my promotion bonus and the sale of that C i'll have enough money midseason to pick up a big time canadian player by my standards.

no offence, but I think this season your team is among worst managed in the game. What if someone who is bored decides to outbid you after all?
