To Whitebeard:

Thanks for the election speech, only one up so far! I like your ideas and only really have a couple of questions at the moment:

- why has there been no apparent interest/presence in the NT up until this point? Including offsite forum

- What do you mean by "willing to cut our losses for the benefit of the future"? I can see how that could work with a standard league team where an economy is involved but besides getting younger players a little extra experience, i don't really understand that point in your speech. Could you elaborate a little?

Thanks for all the support and good questions Dire.

In the past I have contributed directly towards the national and U21 teams but not as much in recent times. Things certainly have died down not just for me but for a number of managers. Probably related to the post Mllama U21 reign as there were many managers involved including myself. I think the majority and including myself have been content with the way the national team have been running in recent times thus the lack of contribution and managers putting their hands up to take the national job. I actually think we can do more. The past few seasons I've been studying the game engine, keeping an eye on the national team but haven't made direct responses to the posts. However this season I plan to contribute with my knowledge whether as the national coach or as a fellow Australian manager.

In regards to the second question, not just playing youngsters but there is something that I always considered trying. I'll post more of the details on the off site forum as it is related to strategy.

Haha didn't realise you were Sam on the offsite forum. You still get a slap on the wrist for not contributing enough (along with everyone else) but at least i have seen you around here and there.

I think most people have noticed your "rise to fame" with your league team and i have seen how you've progressed the team since coming to the ABBL (I actually think we'd have very similar teams if i didn't decide to start going all Aussie) so the strategy and game engine study certainly gets a tick in my book.

Interesting strategy you posted on the offsite forum too. I think it's well worth trying, could certainly give us an edge if it works.

Might be one better suited for the offsite forum as well but how do you see the roster panning out? How would you change it (if at all) from the current setup?
