No way that game is that close with a Blank line up. Kanausuka would never have been chosen as a starter. I scouted the new manager and how he likes to set his line ups..And I knew Kanausuka would dominate the glass at SF and I got the extra bonus of him scoring. And also, The only reason I lost was due to 21 missed FT's. For me...I would rather be the pilot instead of the Co-pilot...that is just how I roll.

On a personal note, the day I think it's appropriate to use a blank line-up will be the day I quit BB.

YC has decided he too isn't going to sink to that cop-out, and he has made that pretty clear.
He has my (for one) complete support on that.

Please don't take this the wrong way Wolph, but perhaps let him make his own decisions now that he's the manager?

Second round a or BUST baby!!! That is my motto. I will say this...With the 19/20yr olds, I know I will make the knockout stages of the consolation cup next season(32 or better).

A WIN ISN'T ALWAYS A WIN

I think this is funny. The good thing from our game was that I jumped 4 places from 63 to 59 and got 3.4 points for the OT loss while Singapore dropped from 21 to 24 and he dropped points.
I guess Singapore Nation wasn't happy with the game either. The manager has a 38% approval rating. hahahahaha!!

I don't think it's an "idea" or an "option" per se. Let's be honest here: it's an exploit. It's not like it's some great tactical advantage, thought out and considered. It's simply the GE not working as intended.

And I think you're far overstating the extent of it's use.

All I'm saying is that YC has made his intent pretty clear already.

It's. An. Exploit.
You're not doing anything other than let the GE do it for you.

Anyway... enough already man, I think it's clear what your opinion is on it. As is mine.
As is YC's. And he's running the show.

I'm officially in the camp of blank line-up is a bad idea.

I had tried it in a PL game last year and tried it again in my B3 game (48765240) last night. I was playing a much better opponent and expected to get beat. With nothing to lose I thought I would try and see how it worked. And if its really as good as advertised then maybe I would get a surprise win.

Well, the verdict is in again and it does not work. My player ratings are lower than normal, my team ratings are lower than normal, and it makes very dumb line-up choices. David Ferland, my stud C (currently on the US NT roster) plaid most of his minutes at SG, my best SG played most of his minutes at PF. I have 3 scrub ($2K) minute eaters on my team and they also saw significant playing time, etc, etc......

So if you try this you are asking for trouble. I'm wondering if Wolph is trying to convince people to do something stupid so he can get more of an advantage.
