Well as Napoleon, I have to embrace it, as annoying of a language as it is to learn. Oui? It'd be much easier as a first language. Verb tenses are especially repulsive.

I've been able to speak French and English my entire life, and my first words were French.

Someone from NB definitely not the same as someone from NF. That would be on par with confusing you with the actual Napoleon.

Your brief response comes off as quite curt btw.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

It's actually not. Only 0.36% or 1,885 of 514,536 Newfies (and Labradorians) reported French as their mother tongue. Whereas 32.61% of New Brunswickers reported French as their mother tongue.

Well, my Maritimes knowledge isn't quite on par with my knowledge of good 'ol Alberta. It's a shame i had to re-spawn here.

I am a born and raised Calgarian, but have shared a french last name with my grandfather who moved out west from NB when he was in his 20's a long time ago. I also speak with people across Canada every day, so, I definitely know the difference between a Newfie and an NBer.

Anyways, I named my team Calgary Spitfires due to, 1) "Fire", similar to Flames, Calgary's beloved Hockey Team. 2) A Spitfire is a british WWII plane, the single seat aircraft was the latest and greatest of combat aircraft technology during World War II. Calgary and Alberta as a whole held a pretty big military presence during WWII and has a pretty big history as far as training/housing Canadian Military during the early 20th century. Kinda rolls off the tongue.

I guess my Napoleon's complex is coming through. I had no intention to offend anybody. I apologize if I did.

Anyways, now that you have come forward as a Flames fan, my hostility towards you will increase.
