117 - 82 victory against South Africa, but Maal is injured

We're now 5-0 with this victory, but with the injury of Kalilou Maal, the star Power Forward of the team, we're quite sure to loose our next 2-3 games...

Doing a great job but that is a tough break just ask the Bulls or Thunder what the playoffs were like without their star PGs.

That's true!
I just hope his injury don't last too much.

Two games lost with Maal out

We lost the last two games of the first round as it should with our biggest player injured. We're now 3rd seed for the 2nd round and we'll try to start well against Tounes.

When you have such a shallow pool of players injuries can be brutal. Very little that you can do besides asking your key managers to have a decent doctor.

That's for sure. But in this case, Astragoth is a veteran of this game and I don't think that he could do any better than he does. Just bad luck.

After his injury, Maal has been sold and is now in really poor GS...
I hope he will be good to go for the end of the season. If not, we're as good as dead.

83-62 victory against Al Jazair, qualification for the semis

Through injuries and bad gameshapes, we made it to the semi finals.
We will avoid Misr for now and so we have a chance to win.
Beating Senegal won't be an easy task though.

96-88 victory against Senegal, we're heading to the final!

We had a great game against Senegal that was won in the fourth quarter.
Being qualified for the final was the goal I set in the beginning of the season and it is now reached! I'm really happy!

In the final we're facing the juggernaut, the immovable object of the African Championship: Misr.
I'm afraid we cannot win this game, but we will try to play the best game we can.

Go Ghana!
