It usually gives you a pretty good estimate. It says your guy will be 98k.

Appreciate that man! 98k sure is a lot I'll definitely sell now. I got him for 470,000 so I would think starting price higher then that would make sense since he is the only guy I've trained. Since I will be in the market for more players soon I'm curious.. Does the game actually factor in a persons height a significant amount? I know it says for rebounding it does and i dont want to sound ignorant but I honestly feel like there is no difference and if there is its minimal. Thoughts? I've just had too many games when someone starts a very small lineup up against my usually strong bigs and a guy will have 20 boards.

Incorrect. It DOES NOT. Height factors into training speed and that is it.

As far as your big man. I agree with Ramq. Sell him ASAP! His secondaries are literally atrocious! By Div IV he'll be a turnover machine and in my opinion not worth the salary not to mention completely useless at any higher level where teams would actually be able to sustain that salary. My guess is he'll bounce around some low level teams managed by new players and then retire. Personally, I'd list him for about 100k and make damn sure he sells before his salary updates and nobody wants to buy him. If you don't get what you paid for him cut your losses and move forward.

As much as I am sure you would to keep him he is not sustainable at your level, sell him pocket the profits and invest in 2-3 guys that can help your team.

The problem now appears to be that he bought another developmental player for what appears to be a 1 bid auction at a price that probably isn't worthy.

While D.III is not likely to occur immediately, I think you could very easily stay in D.IV with a couple of decent 10-15k veterans. Just get 1 or 2 good ball distributors and 1 big that can rebound and shoot and you should be able to win enough games to avoid relegation.
