Oh joy... To add to the excitement, I play HSD in the first game. Could be the decider to see who takes the lead for that relegation battle!

Pick #38 Whompas Donkeys got a $3k 19 year old superstar.
Pick #41 Guanzheng Goldfish got a $2k 18 year old superstar.

Guanzheng Goldfish were the only team that didn't get one of their top two picks in the first round. Persepolis Immortals got the only good player with the 7th pick of the draft.

Best player:

Igor Salter (32053154)

Owner: Persepolis Immortals
Weekly salary: $ 3 633
Age: 18
Height: 6'1" / 185 cm
Potential: superstar
Igor Salter was pick 7 in the season 25 draft by Persepolis Immortals.

Second best player:

Leonard Benga (32053151)
Center

Leonard Benga was pick 24 in the season 25 draft by Urmummas.

For the 3rd best player in the draft we are down to one of the three $3k 18 year old perennial allstars or the $2k 18 year old superstar.

Second Team:
Pre-school Brawlers
I know, I am conflicted tanking as this will be my first time in 20 seasons doing it The reality of this is I don't have any funds in the bank to compete with the rosters in our side of the draw.

I have been close to giving it away this season. Looking at your draft this year, maybe the ABBL is due for some quality picks in S26.

haha yeah could be difference between a Durant or a Oden.

Let the tanking begin!

or... be like the Phoenix Suns - 17 wins - 10 losses. Had the worst record in the western conference last season but seeded 6th this season.

"For all the suspicions about the Suns chasing a draft lottery tanking strategy, McDonough made it clear to Babby and Sarver that he'd never be a part of it. In working with the Celtics, in studying the NBA, McDonough had learned that pursuing pingpong balls isn't a strategy to get out of the lottery – it's typically a ticket to return year after year."

It certainly looks tough, all the teams on this side are well and truly established and it would take some lucky trades to come up with anything good enough to last. I doubt very much that I'll be so lucky and history has shown that teams who tank their initial ABBL visits do have a tendency of re-appearing.

I'm not decided yet but losing time to come up with a decision.

Seems a bit senseless to me jumping on the "buy a $800k team just to survive" team, so the choice seems pretty obvious to me. Just hope I can sell those "unwanted" players at a reasonable price now.
