I feel you. But it's the GE that makes you go crazy.

I just checked these league forums for fun because I saw the Thunder Gods here, and I was happily surprised to see another IV.28 alumni! I used to run the Phoenix Warlords. Hopefully, my team will be here and we can relive our rivalry in a few more seasons (but you guys might be in the NBBA by then..)

Yea I remember those days, Season 10 was spent battling you in the Great 8...and you managed your squad to a Championship over Thunder Gods. Since then TG has spent 5 seasons up in D2 so he's has the greatest amount of success of ours squads. Best of luck to you working your way up the ladder.

If you had your whole team healthy to play I would say absolutely. Being that you lost your starting big man in the Quarter Final it will be a complete uphill battle. You will have to hope for an injury or serious foul trouble (Jewel Miller fouling out early is always a possibility). I honestly wish I would Take It Easy but I don't feel that confident just yet to go ahead and do so.

Game 3 would have been a game down to the wire. Buzzbeater had a different idea. They injured my starting PG in game 2 and then injured my starting center who was dominating in the 2nd Q in game 3. That absolutely reassured the Hawks had it in the bag. What a waste of a season, congrats Hawks.

Yeah, and you still almost won. I can't say I was happy winning that way, but I was really surprised how close it stayed. We definitely had pretty evenly matched teams and I think on a neutral court, a series would be a coin flip. But with home court advantage, you deserved to win.

Honestly if my center would not have gotten injured it may very well have come down to a true BUZZERBEATER for one of our teams to take the title. I wouldn't have mind losing that way at all, nature of the game. I fully expected the MVP Miller to foul out as he always does so I knew the last 6 minutes of the game were going to be lopsided. Either way you may have came out the champion. Job well down man, well deserved on your end.
