The best athlete, big humane and a good person.
Full of himself, arrogant and churlish...

I bet you know him personally...

Ronaldo won the Euro
Yes from the bench he did. Sure he's going to take the medal, just like Kareem got his ring when Magic played C, but everything on the pitch happened while he was on the freaking bench...others won that trophy for him. Also Real with Ronaldo failed to win more league titles that Atletico...figure that. In the 90s that would have guaranteed no Champions League titles either...

Ronaldo hold Portugal to the final, as he did with Real Madrid to the last two Champs that we got, and had to let the court crying after being injured. Not sure about what Messi does in Argentina...

CR7 play for the best club in football history
Best club? Messi most certainly played on the best team in football history (it's either one of those Barcelona's sides from the last decade or one of the AC Milan's from the early 90s).

If you know a tem with more than 11 (maybe 12) European Champions, who was won 2 of the last 3 editions, recognized as the Best Team of XX Century, please tell it to all of us.

Nowadays Messi is a great midfield while Cristiano is the best striker over the world.

Good luck and Hala Madrid:)

I actually hang out with Portuguese people who know him personally very well since he was a kid playing for Sporting...which is more than can be said of most people.

Ronaldo hold Portugal to the final
Debatable considering they won the final without him. We have proof that the Cavs without LeBron sucked really bad. We don't have proof of what the Thunder would be without Westbrook, but I suspect that with competent PGs they would not be anywhere as bad as the worst teams in the league. We actually have proof that Portugal without Ronaldo was good enough to win that final, because the won it, same as the Lakers without Kareem. It's so simple.

Lolol look at Madrid fans holding on to those 50s titles and failing to understand the difference between team and club. Bulls '96 and '97, Warriors '16, Lakers '87 and '72, Celtics '86, Pistons '89, are the best NBA TEAMS ever. The Lakers and the Celtics are the best NBA CLUBS/franchises ever, obviously...

Nowadays Messi is a great midfield while Cristiano is the best striker over the world.
Trololol, suuuure.
Messi: 29 games, 31 goals (4 penalties) and 8 assists
Suarez: 31 games, 24 goals (0) and 12 assists
Ronaldo: 25 games, 19 goals (6 penalties) and 6 assists

As it happens, not only Ronaldo is far worse than 2 'midfielders', but if you take out the penalties Ronaldo isn't even the best striker on his own team, as Morata has a better scoring average.

Stats don't lie!

Thats stupid... Comparing basketball and football ?!

Put Westbrook in any team and he will still carry them over 50% win rate. Put Messi/Ronaldo in any La Liga team and with bottom tier teams.... Well they wont win 50% matches.

Football has 11 players. You cant win football match alone, meanwhile you can win basketball match alone consistently (as proven numeros times).

EDIT: Actually... Ronaldo would probably win more with those teams (at his peak)... Just because of his playstlyle. Messi (at his peak) was used to perfection, afterall he played with Xavi and Iniesta when those two dominated international scene with Spain (for six years!).

I personally like Messi playstyle more... He has this finesse in his game, something that Ronaldo dont possess. Ronaldo is more of a brute force and his stamina is unbelievable. He will wear opponent down with his athleticism (something that Nadal and Djokovic used to do at their peak).

There is also one thing I hate... When people say that Messi doesnt work hard or Ronaldo doesnt have talent... Like for real?

Euro 2016

F group, last game vs Hungary. He scored 2 goals to tie the match and qualify Portugal.
1/2 Final, he opened the score vs. Welsh winning the eliminatory.

Debatable? I don´t think so.

You can prefer Bulls or Lakers, but only C´s the best franchise:)

Until december. I think he has scored more goals.

Stats don't lie!

This year he started playing late La Liga, he was injured for several weeks from the Euro.
I don´t know why do you take out penalties. It´s possible that as Cristiano has better % than Messi you have to equilibrate it.
I repeat, Messi is a great player but Cristiano is even better. I don´t need to underestimate Messi as Cris haters do.
But if you compare both player records in Champions League, after groups phase, there is no comparision.

I´d like him to play for Spain and i´m sure he´d led England to get a tittle.

Best regards
