Of course I should see an advantage playing in the top division, I'm playing to another browsing game where if you wanna stay in the first division you must spend a lot of money but in that game a lot of teams prefer to play in second or third division earning a lot of money climbing the divisions only when they are really rich. This system is not so good cause it's simply not funny.

Lowering wages will only mean that managers start to use even better players and then they will also (perhaps) have some problems with spending. This wouldn't be the case only if wages were so little compared to income that those wouldn't matter and no team could overspend. I don't think that would be cool.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was (again) thinking this wage increase the other way around.

If you (or in fact the BBs) want to reduce the gaps between the divs there are easier ways to do that

The BBs have spent the past few seasons making the gaps between the divisions wider.

My guess is that they probably don't want to narrow them.

That's true but probably there will be a day when they will think there is enough gap and that day what they will do to reduce the gap or at least to keep the gap?

Anyway I think the same that Juice, BBs don't want to do that now, even if it could be better to start to think about it ;)

Then why suddenly make a huge adjustment on season ticket holder growth? This impacts the attendence which should be the biggest factor between the top and bottom teams.

The STH for top division champions was out of line - it was giving them a promotion bonus when they in fact did not promote.

It wasn't a philosophical change, it was fixing a bug.
