My high school team played full court man press buzzer to buzzer. We were less talented but better conditioned than other teams. It worked for us but people hated playing us.

I’ve never seen a BB team quite make it work, really curious to see if you can make it competitive as you get into higher divisions! It definitely generates a ton of turnovers for you. Good luck!

That feeling when you beat an NBBA team

Even if he didn't field his best team and a guy got injured

Not gonna lie. I fully expected to lose the game but

Congrats! Always have to celebrate one of those victories. On even effort too!

In league news, Indiana added quite the piece while the Zombies are bringing in the cash to either re-tool immediately or set themselves up for the future. We've got such an interesting conference.

I’ll second that congratulations! I went all out and still had my ass handed to me.

You faced a much better team. He has one guy that makes almost as much as my entire team.

I have played this game for years, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone post in the league forum.

This league seems to be a bump up from my last league, and didn't have the pieces to compete here. I added Mindaugas to try to help with that. We'll see how it goes!

Nice player you trained up in Napigkit! Seems like you've got a lot of cash now, curious to see what your next moves are.

Yea, league forums tend to be fairly quiet but I like to try and engage with any league I'm in as it keeps things a little more interesting.

The jump from D.IV to D.III is pretty big, especially once you cut out all those bots! Definitely a competitive league we've got here.

Thanks! I just wish I had bumped his passing up a little, he turns the ball over too much. But he was never really a primary trainee so he didn’t get prioritized.

My next moves are not going to be very interesting for another season or two. I’m going to demote to Div. IV, and train my three young players (hopefully some play jr. NT). Then I’ll rise as they train, hopefully making it back to the NBBA as they hit around 25, and are all around 140 TSP, 150k salary, and playing SG, SF, and PF and use the savings to add monsters at PG and C.

…or I’ll get impatient and blow it along the way. We’ll see.

Oh wow, didn't realize you were recently in the NBBA! And I did a little bit of a look into all the teams and believe we have 4 total former NBBA teams which I think says something about the competition.

Sounds like a solid plan. Patience is definitely the challenge with BB long-term strategies, hah. Good luck!

In league news, how about that triple OT game between Indiana Slumpbusters and lake demon! Everyone must be exhausted in that one.

Yeah, I think this league has 4 former managers of the NBBA. BU, KSP, Prarie and myself (although technically that was my old team that went bot). Not bad for a D3.
