His arena average income is just above 200k. I don't know how much exactly TV money is in his league, but after deducting the extra 30% from the salary floor, he should have more than 150k for other expenses. If he actually had 3 staff at 200k salary each (causing him to pay a 600k severance fee), that would mean that he's losing at least 400k a week. Which means he's losing 1m every 2-3 weeks. Plus the highest staff currently on the market is 111k. It's gonna take some time to get them to 200k.

Unless he's been sitting on millions of cash (to the point where he probably got taxed for it), it really isn't possible. But then, he has only ever bought 1 player. So who knows, maybe his 10+ seasons of earning 100k per week stockpiled to a huge sum.
