as far as i can see, you don't need high dosages of inside offense or driving or jump shot to consider a good dunker... all it takes is maybe a mediocre handling, inside shot, and jump range... (maybe throw in a little height, age, and potential... to weigh down the dunking ability even more...)

the skills are based on a 5 on 5 basketball game, not the art of slam dunking... so even a mediocre in those fields could be a good dunker... provided with the height and the potential.

for me, the training option for a dunker isn't going to be needed... that's just my opinion...

The slam dunk contest is a waste even in real life. I'd rather see the creative energy of the BB team channeled into something more useful.

Why jump range?

When I want to see a circus show, I go to the circus, you know.

3 point contest translates ok into a text/numbers game(who's the best shooter?) Slam Dunk contest would be a waste.

Much better idea than the slam dunk contest.

I think you should not hijack a thread to suggest it.

I think that a dunking contest would be a good idea... But I also find that you should be able too see, when you see the skills of a transferlisted player, if he's won any MVP votings, 3-point contests or slam dunk contests. This would give the buyer a better idea of how good the player performs (besides stats).
