I tried training Form the week of playoffs last season and saw no help

Before
5 strong
5 proficient
2 respectable

After
6 strong
4 proficient
2 respectable

Minutes and game shape for all players were similar to what they had been all season so I have reason to believe that the game shape spread would have been the same if I trained something else. Was very disappointed. Wasted a week of training. Of course, I was expecting some prominent game shapes but I guess that doesn't happen.

I wouldn't train game shape when 5/6th of my selection are in strong or better game shape, since proficient is the maximum. But ok that's another point.

When somebody trains gameshape while the whole selection is in proficient shape, then you won't see any improvements as well. The maximum simply is the maximum.
The problem with this trainingmethod is that you just don't know what their form would have been when you hadn't trained it. Maybe you would have had 4 respectables, 2 average, 5 strongs and 1 proficient.

I've trained game shape 1 time, when my minutes were wasted, some players had 100+ minutes, others didn't reach 20 minutes. I expected a lot of form drops, but I trained game shape and only 2 dropped in sublevel, all of the others remained about the same or even better.

doesnt it make sense if your starters are already in very high game shape and your starters dont, might as well play em.

unless foul trouble kicks in, usually youll see your starters plays more minutes than the bench and just let them pick up at the scrimmmage?

I think I have some problem with the weekly training.:S I have two very good 18 years old player (one wiht all-time great and one with hall of famer potential). In this week I have trained inside scoring only centers. The two player played at center more than 48 minutes (more than 50...). And I have a great trainer (9) and their's inside shots are respectable and they didn't popped:S How it is possible?

It's estimated that center only training takes 1-2 weeks. You'll probably get the pops next week.

Was that before the training slowdown? Perhaps by coincidence both your centers are at the lower end of the IS skill. Just a guess, perhaps you'll get 2 pops for the next 2 weeks. It is estimated at 1-2 weeks after all.

I would say it takes 2 to 3 weeks now for a pop. Depending on age, 18 yo's might be popping sligthy faster.

And I am eternally grateful for this!

I think you especially are in position to help everyone learn about how much slower training now is.... you are the pioneer of 1 position training and if you are noticing the slowdown then just imagine how much slower the 2 & 3 position traininig regimes are....

It's possible that your center heigh are small, this can also be a problem in training ;)
