Why is you petition called Staff System then? You want to change the WHOLE staff system, that's in your post. I guess the only problem for you are the coaches lvl 5+, which is, as I said, less than 15% , maybe even 10 or 5 of the current staff system, although my calculation might be too simple.

The main objective of this petition, in this early stage, is to question the current staff system since it has already proven its flaws. Of course, that better solutions might come from a debate. But for that to happen, we need to put it on the table again. So, if you wish that this current system to be revised, please sign this petition.

OK, then let me put it this way. Take for example a 4th division team versus a 1st division team. It's common for 4th division teams to invest on a high level coach without any other proper staff members, since player training is essential to develop a team.
Now, the inequity comes when you see the sacrifices made by both teams. The 200k auction value only sacrificed, for example, 2 of the 1st league team arena incomes. That value triplicates for 4th league team, which can be a major hole in the financial stability for the rest of the season.

Then the 4th division team shouldn't be overspending their means.

Because I cannot see mathematically the 15% drop you claim. And I don't consider this staff system a good deal. But I'm certain you can handle with another person disagreeing with you.

LOL. You're a funny guy. How do you train a player for sale, with a level 4 coach in this current system? How long does it take? It took me 2 seasons to get two players trained ready for sale with a level 10. How long would it take on a current level 4? Four seasons?

A current level 4 is the same as a former level 8.

Did you think a level 4 now was the same as a level 4 then?

I started this season and doing fine with lvl4 trainer. If you can not afford 200k+ for the lvl5 trainer then you take the lvl4 one for about 1-10k. If I take lvl5 trainer I can't buy myself decent players and expand my arena. I think div4 team does not need the best things at the start. You need to learn to manage your economy, not get everything easy at the start. In you case it seems like you can't get lvl5 trainer for cheap so you start to whine:) Demand creates the pricerange if you can't pay it you can't get it. I would like to buy div2 players for 50k why is there no players like that on TL. I demand that div4 teams get div2 players cheap!

Note that I don't buy players for 2 seasons, for the 4 I've been playing. Since I've opted to maintain the players that I've been training for the Portuguese national team. Now, I've got a question about the level 8 and 10 coaches. What is the exact difference in the skill increasing rate? In a level 10, I get 1 increase per week. Would I still get it on a level 8? Because, if it becomes a 2 week increase, the 2 season time I made, would become 4 seasons.

Please change the Trainer System!

I really don't care about PR & Doctor as all the other players, that's why they're cheaper with this system!

We just want more Level 5 Trainers on the market, could you just analyse this and keep the discussion just on this issue?!?

So you are training Portugal PG right?
Perhaps you should try to rise to div2? Having hard time managing his salary?
Imo he should demand a trade:D Playing in div3 as a NT player. 200k per season should not be that hard unless you can not manage your economy!

the reason for the new staff system was exactly to prevent everyone from having a max trainer... i mean if everyone has a max trainer why have a trainer at all? the old staff system was boring and added nothing to the game... the differences in salary were not very large, and so everyone could afford the best basically or the tradeoff was small. We could have raised salaries... but then what if we got it wrong and the economy changes and now they cost too much or too little. we though.. why not have a market for staff and the market will set the price itself and the balance will be maintained... thus we only have to focus on whether or not the revenue streams coming in are properly balanced across the divisions such that its possible for new teams to advance but still advantageous for them to do so, so there is a motivation to succeed and move forward.

To take a step back... I see a lot of users making suggestions/complaints/etc which have the generic argument of.. "it would be better for teams if this were changed to this way" where better is defined as easier to succeed.

That really isn't the best way to set policy... what the best way to set policy is what makes the game the most interesting/fun to play. I would argue that the point and fun of this game is that when you invest time and energy into solving the problems the game presents to you to solve, that you can do well and see success.

(ASIDE: Hmm...so maybe playing the game of asking the game developers to remove problems for you is sort of maybe a different sort of fun game.. where the challenge is how to manipulate us in the forums to make this change ..this could be a fun game i think... for you at least.. but not for me ;) (this is a joke btw))

I can assure you, however, that the difference between an 8 & 10 (old system) were pretty minimal.
