Baseball is a good example of the game changing and records becoming unreachable. I doubt anyone will ever beat;

Consecutive games played
Most Wins season
Most Starts (P) season
Batting Avg season
etc, etc

the consecutive games was recently broken in terms of baseball's longevity. but i see your point. baseball had a number of "eras" in which rules had to be changed. obviously right now it's the steroids era and players are hitting home runs left and right (though it's calmed down recently) and then there was the bad ball era when pitchers dominated. but the early buzzerbeater seasons are kind of ridiculous with how the games were played out. they still had a lot of bugs. i'd say anything past season 4 or 5 would be fine for consideration.

Just like hockey. Nobody will reach Waynes 200+ points becuase the goalies have improved comparedto back then. Ovechiken could score over 90+ in Gretzkys era probably. But waynes records still stand

I like the idea a whole lot.

Couple of questions to answer:

What about players whose careers span the eras? Should we disallow all career stats from games played before Season 4?

Can the bb-stats site do an automatic searchto make it easier to find the career totals and game records?

BB must create the world wide hall of fame, not just the teams personal hall of fame. BB hall of fame can be in honour of record-holders and the best bb players of all time. Maybe one day someone af these guys (789816) (2644484) (676015), or the others course.

I think what would also be nice when they fully retired is to show the community their skills when they were at their peak.
