David Lee for Rubio is one of the possibilities i have heard of - at least the Knicks have shown some interest.

if the knicks traded lee away i dont know who they have anymore.
darko, the rookie, eddie curry, etc etc doesnt sound quality big man for me. probably they can offer that much money to the guy since they are aiming for 2010

I dont think that big men are that important in D'Antoni's system, Gallinari is still there not to mention Harrington...

still how can you keep up with out some one doing the dirty work.
true they arent the center of the system but still they have a role to play. no matter what one may say, normally a strong contending team has a really reliable big man whether be a star like duncan or a role player like ben wallace to the pistons then.

He still hasn't been bought out. Hopefully for him he stays in Europe, Minnesota is a disaster.

Rumor has Barcelona buying him out with a six year contract and a better escape clause, but it would be in 2011.

i dont think rubio would benefit coming to minnesota,
its a rebuilding team, i think it just doesnt need talent but maturity and being prepared.
it may not be said but once his there i think he would be ask much just playing. and i dont think their lone pf star can guide that a big group alone

Honestly, playing against the best is the fastest way to improve. If he is really as good as they say (I have only seen a few highlights of his play), then he needs to be in the NBA to reach his maximum ability.

I think Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are good examples of that... :)

As much as I'd like to see Westbrook still back at UCLA...I have to agree with you.
