I guess why I think NBA coaches are better is because, they coach the best players in the world, which most typically means the teams are closer together in terms of talent than in other leagues.

There is not logical correlation between these two facts.Erik Spoelstra coach better players than Scott Skiles, but I think anyone consider Spoelstra better then Skiles, until he proves it

I point out that in NBA you don't need any kind of test about basketball knowledge, while in europe you need it,so while there are great coaches both in europe and in NBA,to coach at lower level in NBA you don't have to prove before your skilss, while in europe, you have to do it

2) The players do not play perfect strategy, and intentionally so. This is part of the role of experience, something that is often undervalued in BB but matters quite a lot at the end of games. In this case, your guard thought he had an uncontested layup, but he was wrong; he was not blocked by his primary defender, but by a help defender he didn't notice.

Note also that inexperienced players have a tendency to overestimate how good their shot attempts truly are. Rookies...*bah*

All right, but my guard has 5 in experience,is he the only stupid but experienced player of the BB world?

The last action...I would understand if my players lose the ball because they had only 5 or 6 second and they could give difficult thing to find a shot...but 20 seconds are enough to build a shot,at least a forced shot from any part of the field. It's not like my player turns off the ball...he simply didn't shot because he don't like to win?

The opposing team played quality defense and did not allow a good shot attempt. Would you take a bad shot with 10 seconds on the clock if you expect that continuing to run your offense is likely to produce a better one? That's a low percentage play, if so. The players on the court thought they'd get a better opportunity later in the clock. Turns out, they were wrong. Players sometimes make poor choices, especially less experienced ones. And especially with an inexperienced point guard trying to get everybody in the right place.

The game engine has a lot of code in there, so it's often wrong to attribute to oversimplification what you can instead attribute to complexity.

They were not trying to force a shot in the last 3 seconds, after losing over 15 second doing nothing on the field?Mah

I wouldn't call a player with experience 5 particularly experienced.

What kind of player would you call experienced? What is the average level of experience of your players?

No irony in my words, these are serious questions ;D

My understanding for an experienced player is strong+. A player with "mediocre" experience is, well, exactly what the skill name says
