I asked this in another forum, but I'll ask here as well. Have you actually seen 30-year old players drop in skill? I have not yet experienced a drop in skill from my 30-year old. I have only seen a drop in skill form a 35-year old. I had him for a while as a 34 year old and don't remember his skills dropping. Then he depopped twice at 35 and I fired him.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Well, you've only been here since season 2, so I totally disregard anything you say...

Just kidding. Thanks for the info, I respect your experience quite a bit, actually.

I have just made quick search on TL, here are results:

50 players of age 34 have 3 skill drops (and 2 skillups :D)
50 players of age 33 have 6 skill drops
50 players of age 32 have 0 skill drops

Stamina drops haven't been counted.

It's just small sample of players, but it looks like at least at 33 there are skill drops. Maybe if we search for more players aged 32, we will find any skill drop as well.

The game is still maturing - my season 3 draftee (and first ever trainee) is 28 and still playing a role in the EBBL. He has another five seasons (and five xp pops, probably) to go before starting to lose his skills and even then I expect him to still be able to do a job for me for another season or two.

Come back in six seasons or so and I bet you see smart mid-level teams opting for a strategy of two or three trainees plus four or five of fully-trained but aging season 1, 2 and 3 players that they've picked up cheap as they are dumped on the market from teams in higher divisions. Then you won't consider 24 year olds veterans.

Mind you, for now, I think most managers think of veterans as "no longer really trainable to add value"
- so 27 is probably about right.

24/25/26 are still good for passing, 1on1, jump shot and rebounding training, I'd argue.

The skils start to drop before you can see them dropping with the red arrow,so they start to drop around 32 years old,but you could not see them dropping till your players will ave 33-34 years

With really low subskill you see even the smallest decrease in a skill.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.
