That 30k backup power forward was a stud in Division III. This is a really long season.

So I played you in the PL and decided to fool around with the Coaching tactics. Did Coach picks from depth chart.

PG: Wens and Molaro
SG: Molaro and Ismael

I was hoping this would mean that all of them would get 30ish minutes with Molaro splitting half his time at PG and half at SG. Slightly better than Let Coach Decide since I could guarantee my trainee Ismael isn't running the offense. End result? Zero substitutions and Wens plays 47 minutes. Fantastic.

It's a shame there aren't more options to be able to control substitutions. Although, Ismael wasn't running the offense, and Wens outplayed Molaro, so it wasn't entirely unsuccessful.

Season 21 - 3 teams made it in at 6-2
Season 20 - 2 teams made it in at 6-2
S19 - 7 teams
S18 - 3 teams
S17 - 7 teams
S16 - 11 teams
S15 - 7 teams

So far, it's possible that zero 6-2 teams could make it. I was hoping to have locked it up, and also see you in a good spot PD wise after tonight. But it still looks like it's going to come down to the final game.

I started to post about this in the offsite, but held off to see how today's games go. At this point there's 32 teams with a 6-1 or better record, with 9 teams with a 5-1 or better record left to play. Based on past history i'd be surprised, but it's possible that not all 1 loss teams make it through.

edit - this is kind of surprising, id expect lower costs for quality players to create more parity, but overall its been trending the other way.

Unless I can't count, there's now 30 teams who are 6-1, and 9 teams who are 7-0. So 2 teams dropped down to 5-2, thus helping our chances.

It's possible that this is just an unusual year with a lot of fluff teams who are tanking/gutting or just suck. I had a D2 team that clearly can't compete with everyone else and 1 team that went bot. There are a lot of really bad world rankings in this years crop for the B3. All the records are probably inflated.

the standings were updating, so it depends when you checked yesterday.

now that its fully updated, there's:

- 9 teams are 7-0, all of which have +152 PD at the worst. A loss for any of these teams is unlikely to limit them from moving on

- 30 teams are 6-1. 7 of these 30 need to lose or someone with a 7-1 record will not be moving on. Even if that's the case, based on our PD, we should both be safe to move on with a win next week.
