he has pretty poor jump range. i dont know if it makes sense to train it.

start with OD and PA (both up to 8) then i would train insideskills next season. in two-game weeks just give him 1on1 for the first few season, so his JS, DR and HA goes up to 8-10...

Hi all,

I got 3 trainees. 18, 19, 20 all drafted. I also got a 20 yr old and a 21 yr old to train only on inside skills they are decent but nothing special like these guys.

Basically I'm wondering what training route to go with? And also is an advanced trainer good enough?
I'm thinking go with pressure training to 10-11 points. Then 1on1 forwards until Dussán get's a 7 in handling. Then jump shot forwards until they all reach 10 in JS. Then just train inside skills. So perhaps 1.5 more seasons of outside training and then go inside?

An advanced trainer is fine. For the 18 year old, I would try to make him a PF, while forming the 19 year old into an SG/SF. I would train all guard skills this seasons, starting with OD until they both hit 9. Next, train 1v1 Guards or Forwards (your choice) until their HA/DR is at 7-8. I would also throw in a couple weeks of PA. Then during the playoffs/offseason, you can decide if you want to train JS or more OD.

Ok you lost me a little. What should I work in him for this season? Just guard skills? And leave inside skills for next year?

Pretty much finished up my two forwards, thought I'd stop by and give off their final builds now:

Yannick finished at:

Jump Shot: prolific Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: tremendous Handling: sensational
Driving: wondrous Passing: prolific
Inside Shot: proficient Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: proficient Shot Blocking: proficient
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: respectable

Experience: mediocre

and George got to:

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: sensational
Driving: marvelous ↑ Passing: prominent
Inside Shot: sensational Inside Def.: tremendous
Rebounding: sensational Shot Blocking: proficient
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: proficient

Experience: mediocre

I pair them at SF/PF and I think they turned out pretty darn well :)

What would be a good final (capped) skill set for this guy as a SF/PF?

He has gotten 16 pops, in every skill except Jump Range, in about 15 weeks I think. I've trained OD twice with no increase so that is very close to popping.

Thanks for the feedback Manon. I think I will train his OD to 8+, it will benefit my other trainees too. Would 12 passing be overkill on a scoring PF? I was playing around with BuzzerManager and this build fits his potential:

13 5
8 15
12 12
16 16
12 12

Is this an achievable goal with a Level 4 trainer?
