Well after the training update, I don't have a chance at it stands.



The positive is that your top 9 players are all either strong or proficient game shape.

The downside is that CCats top 5 players all have awesome gameshape.

If CCat doesnt buy any more players he is beatable, all you need to do is injure one of his starters in the first minute or 2 of the game.

Perhaps you could consider getting someone off the transfer list who has a history of intentionally getting unsportsmanlike fouls and then line him up on Anderson

Also it is interesting to note that I havent heard anyone bag CCat for a week or so, for the manner in which he brought Degas

He was at 2k when i put a bid on, not sure how good people are at maths but in order to get it to $400k you need to put 3 bids on due to the maximum increase rule.

I guess I did how ever put a hilarious 4th bid on just before going to bed to ensure I was well and truly not going to be out bid by anyone before his crappy deadline.

I guess it might seem a little strange or perhaps crazy that someone would prefer to be sleeping at 4am and have slightly less in my make believe basketball teams account then get up at 4am


As for the game, Koops has had his fair share of stars injured in key games, surely he's going to get some karma back. I think it'll be a good game as the teams stand now but not ruling out Koop bringing in a couple of guys either.

Might I say that I didnt bag you on buying Degas.

You made a bold bid to buy him, obviously with the intention of trying to win the cup.

it'll be a good no matter which way it swings. But the 4 mil dmi on your bigs look very intimidating.

Very astute of you as I have in fact changed my primary focus, it is now on the training of my 4 trainees.

I even managed to get 48mins into the 4 of them during the AllStar week.

To assist with the training of my trainees Im thinking of bringing in a couple of "experienced players of beastly abilities" that my 4 trainees can learn from by playing with, during the ABBL finals series.

I think this actually got put forward as a suggestion at some point. ie: younger players experience goes up relative to the other players experience.

either a suggestion or a discussionas to whether it was true or not. can;t remmeber.

I think ive used the same "poisonous spin" before when Ive tried to justify my win at all costs approach of buying in beasts so as to win a championship

oh haha.. nah i didnt mean it like that, i actually mean it seriously, that someone else had mentioned it as a suggestion for the game.

but yes it does sound a bit like some Sid-propaganda from past glories. haha.

Good luck ahead Cat but I think you have the advantage. It will be good to know the team who knocked me out won the cup(not that I had any chance of making it that far). Was looking for another quarter final appareance, oh wells.
