I'll be honest i have loved the spike in the TL. I have been able to upgrade my team so much this season, and i have been able to add $1.2 mil worth of seats to my arena.

The strategy i took was sell off my trainees that were getting a little older, Which they netted huge amounts more for me this season than they were "worth" last season. I was able to replace them with younger, higher potential, and more rounded trainees (which for me are guards) plus i still had money to pick up a 60k salary center on the TL so my team didn't regress. In fact i think my team as a whole is better now than when the season started despite the fact that my team is younger, and like I said I have a younger team which means better things for me in the future!

In my opinion if you play your cards right this current state of the "economy" can be so advantageous to accelerating the development of your team if you become more aggressive and not sit back and wait for it to go by.

I think that the return of the Free Agents was a great short-term measure in order to lower the inflaction that was ocurring on the TL, but as we all know the TL depends on the supply-demand, so when the F.A. stop to flow our market, sooner or latter the inflaction will return.

So, the BB brains need to find a way in order to stop this.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The problem is, how will some people be able to make money? Many people in the higher divisions have 500K salaries to deal with, and if you raise the salary by 20%, they'll make $100,000 less every week. Also, I'd be in negatives every week instead of above the "poverty line".

Not every team will see the same increase in salary. Some first division teams will see an increment of 50k, some others in 150k, even if they have the same incomes and costs right now.

This is one of the financial elements of the managment in BB, having an adequate balance between how much you can pay and how much you will be paying is part of the game. If you can not have it, you can always sell it.

In one of the first seasons of BB, the BBs said that they didn't want to see players like the "divine" of hattrick, that's why they decided to increase in an exponential way the salaries of the players in order to give a "bonus" to everyone that trains multiskills players instead of monoskill. Another point is that the difference between a lvl 19 and lvl 20 is very low compare to the difference between a lvl 1 vs lvl 2, it means that there is no reason to boost some skills over a certain lvl, if you want to do that you've to pay. Imho the salaries could be ok they've to cut the money coming from merchandising, tv and arena, the difference between last season and this one in my case is +200k/week (even more) and the salaries didn't increased of 200k.

I think that the ideia of the increase of salaries is a bad idea, the first division teams will loose some money yes.

But i think that the lower league teams like me, wont have a chance when it comes to improve our teams.

i think also the problem currently is, that the game is very young and through player developement the economical background changes from season to season ...

So a temporary fix could help, because the point they could make lont term changes are the point where good players getting weaker in a way the young player improving to fill this hole left by the veterans. or they making dyynac adjustment like the very smalll salary adjustment next season, which includes the econonic situtions in the formula.

And mulitskill isn't the only answer to avoid top player with high salary, the high salary centers of today brings more power on their position then multiskill player with the same amound of training(and they aren't singleskilled).

Inflation, as an economic phenomenon, is the result of an increase of the money stock in an economy and has nothing to do with supply and demand.




Well, just in order to not confuse people, I should say that is not like that.

Inflation is the increase in the general prices in an economy. And yes, it has to do with supply-demand dinamics and also with monetary mass.

But, I will agree that the most probably cause of BB inflation is due to increase in the velocity of expansion of the monetary mass (a.k.a changes in the fan behavior and their consequences in arena planning)
