You'll have to refresh my memory. I don't recall ever saying I smashed anyone. I remember saying I comfortably beat learvins (which I stand by). If I am wrong feel free to quote me...
Now i'll give you my game rundowns to date to prove what I am saying...
Game 1) We already established hca was cancelled by effort. I knew I could tie with my best 5 starters and get the win. His poor enthusiasm management will cancel out his hca next meeting and I'll probably tie again for the same result.
Game 2) Had lost my 80k pg and had to replace him with a sg with 1/10th the salary in a game where outside offence was crucial. His pg was for sale and showed weak od so I took a punt and put johnson at pg to get him as much as I could. That worked well but would have been much better with my injured player at pg and and johnson at sf (reynolds took sg for training) so I could rng. The replacement starter was 3-13 and 0-5... There is your 15 points. And do I get allowances for hca or is that just to help argue your point?
Game 3) This was always going to be my inside vs his outside. We both had a key player injured but there are 2 reasons why mine was much more detrimental. Firstly a 80k guard is much more valuable than a 50k tall and second look at the difference in players used to cover. If we both had a full list the outcome would have been greater in my favour.
Game 4) Why use the rest of my starting players minutes in a game I cant win when I have a team my back ups can't beat in the cup? I have said before I'm not intending on matching it with the top teams this season so would be irrational to waste resources I need elsewhere trying.
Now you can blame poor tactics and bad management from other managers but that just proves my point. I have managed my side well to be 2-2 so far and face 2 tankers and a recently promoted team for the next 3 rounds. The only way I'm finishing outside playoffs is if I tank...
