Memorial Day Weekend Massacre

Starting the "2nd" half of the season. After Saturday night, either the 500 Hackers or the Vatican Vipers will be in the lone top spot of their division. That's because we have a star studded match up between the After Shocks and the Buckner Bandits. The After Shocks are looking to continue their winning streak after back to back losses. Meanwhile the Bandits are trying to get back on a win streak. Both teams managed their star's minutes this past week, so we should be in for a doozy.
It feels as if this is gonna be a nail bitter. Damn shame I'll be at work and not watching it live. :(

Good Luck Brothers.

Hey man, can I challenge you to a rematch via scrimmage next week? I wasn’t 100% when we faced each other because I didn’t properly manage their play time the week before and I was training OD for my young players. Basically, their roles were switched up(my SF playing PG, etc.) plus I was experimenting on different offense.

This will be the deciding factor if I wanna try to push for div 3, but I still have to beat the Wahoos and the Hackers.

In the case of my loss to MKE Bucks, I set the attitude to “take it easy” and boy I was cocky to do that. Although he won by 2 points in OT, he will probably gonna give me a hard time even if I set the attitude to “normal”.

That’s fine, I just need to get a feel of what this lineup could do. If I’m not confident, I’ll just relax here in div 4 and train rookies again 😅

Tuesday Night Tussle

JPJ Superplex Stadium hosts tonight's matchup between, the After Shocks and the Wahoo Warriors. The Warriors are looking to remain perfect against the Big 8. The After Shocks, seem to have regained their footing after a rough, back to back games, a few weeks ago. That ruined their perfect season bid. This game has all the makings of an instant classic. I mean what else can you ask for? The league's leading scoring Jesse Radford against the leagues 2nd leading sharer, Geoffrey Muirhead. While Radford's ppg have dropped a bit, going from Point Guard to Small Forward, the team's success has jumped off. Which leader you got tonight?

This time I realize, who is at home, unlike Saturday night.

After Shocks by 3, o/u 212.

Good luck, everyone!

Well Nate I don't know about that home field advantage...your defense played well...or should I say the refs let you maul me and you got away with murder! I will remember this come playoff time.

22-8 foul discrepancy and an extra 24 free throws had coach Tony Bennett fuming as he got ejected shortly after Radford fouled out on a ticky tack blocking foul. You never like to blame the refs in games like these so we will have to let the basketball speak for itself come playoff time. Good Luck and Watch Out! ;-)

Man. MKE Bucks what happened? You gonna do a long rebuild? Maybe try and go homegrown?

Interdivison Play Finished Rankings

1. 500 Hackers (12-2) The Model of Execellence not that MKE went bye bye (for now). Selling Will Partridge may move the needle though.

2. Vatican Vipers (12-2) being this high in the rankings, always leads to a fall.

3. After Shocks (12-2) very nice road win over Wahoo Warriors.

4. Buckner Bandits (13-3) reading for the post season, a win Saturday, could catapult them to the top.

5. Wahoo Warriors (10-5) The last of the the title threats.

6. MKE Bucks (9-6) Sold off their entire team..... Have some money to rebuild What will they do? Please if you're giving up on the season buy the 1st 3 guys you can for $1000, so teams don't get a walk over. (Thank You).

edit to get back in the rankings, the teams I cut off, will need significant upgrades.

Saturday Night Summer Slam

Kicking off the last 3rd of Season almost 69, and summer, we have a budding rivalry. These 2 growing teams are on similar paths, from what I can gather. Both these managers are builders, working the fundamentals and the Xs and Os. Buckner Bandits guards are the envy of the league. Mike Hunt, the sniper and Greyson Tobin, the point forward averaging nearly 8 dimes, a game. Not bad for a rookie, looking forward to 1 day going to Naismith Memorial Basketball HoF.

The Vatican Vipers are coming in with a defense that is giving up just 75 ppg. Lead by Karol "Krackdaddy" Krakowiecki's 15 RPG, 1 STPG, and 1 BLKPG. This game is gonna be decided on the perimeter, who's guards are gonna lead them to lead of the Great 8? Will the Vipers get snake bite, by the Kiss of Death prediction?

Vatican Vipers by 13, o/u 199.

Good Luck, Everyone. only 6 games remain after tonight.

@Wahooptie: IDK if it's a murder, but to me, it felt like a close game—especially since you took it easy on me. This game was an eye opener for me not to push for Div 3. And I prefer to see my bois' stats pop

@DoubleR: I can still issue a scrimmage but this is just for training minutes now😂 Only if you're up for it
