So far:

Matty8 (Fremantle)
Rabidcamel (Adelaide)
Bainsy (Western Bulldogs)
Mllama (West Coast)
Lazz40* (Richmond)

So who will win this weeks matches.... My tips as follows.
Carlton
Richmond
St Kilda
Essendon
Port(Have a feeling the hawks will struggle)
Collingwood

I think the game of the round is Essendon verse Sydney.

I grew up with mates so obsessed with eagles that I followed the Crows originally on account of their catchy club song. lol When the Dockers came in in 1995 I jumped aboard and it's been one hell of a ride so far. I'm a very passionate supporter (previously member) but won't renew my membership until the boys lift their game...literally!

First of all Hawks are in top 5 for favourites to win the flag and the hawks beat collingwood in round one, so you just brutally recked urself idiot!
Secondly i am just happy seeing the tiges challenge top teams like the cats and the eagles! When we played both those tams last year we got thrashed!
Hawks were not in shit form! They had all their stars in including mitchell, lewis, buddy and rioli! Richmond were just the better team on the day!
As for who we have beaten! Saints, swans and hawks were all rated higher than us BEFORE we beat them! and i dont expect richmond to be beating contenders! there is a reason their called contenders, its coz their good!

I'd say if anything the tiges are underratted
Oh and by the way scince u dont consider hawthorn or collingwood contenders then who do u consider!!!!!?
Get ur stats rite dummy!!!!!!!!!!

You're starting to ramble, I'm no sure I understand what your point is?

Of course Richmond are underrated, why wouldn't they be based on previous seasons and the the start to this season?

I never said Richmond won't be good in the future, or that they don't have some promising players. I disputed the notion that they have an 'elite' midfield at this point in time. That's not a knock on their players, but an assessment of where they are currently at.

Tigers fans have a huge reputation of getting ahead of themselves on the back of a couple of wins, a coaching change or a couple of draft picks. It's happened countless times previously, I think that's why people are skeptical every time a Tigers fan pipes up spreading the good news about a Tiger resurgence.

This isn't something new, but it always seems to end the same way - a 9th place finish and a September spent reliving the 'what ifs'.

I don't blame you for being excited and talking them up, but it's going to take more than a couple of wins to convince the majority of people that the Tigers are the real deal.

I don't think Richmond are underrated really, think most people now rate them as a borderline finals team. Which is what they. If anything they are being overrated - all this Tigers are coming stuff for a team battling to make the finals. They aren't premiership contenders yet...

They will be seriously scary in the future though, possibly starting from next year. Deledio, Martin and Cotchin will be a seriously good midfield, I think all will be among the elite of the AFL. They seem to be starting to piece together a solid defence to (which seemed to be their main issue the past few season), and with Riewoldt up and firing again, the forward line looks good.

The problem Richmond has, is their real window for challenging for a premiership (probably 2014 onwards) may well coincide with Gold Coast and GWS coming good. And with all their concessions, they are going to be pretty hard to stop...
