Thanks, yes the U21 team is one thing but the senior team is impressive. Diam is listed as a PF but can actually play all 5 positions although he still has some HUGE gaps which I am slowly working on if I continue with his training. Still miss out on everyone I bid on but I'm not in a hurry and wont overbid.

The Boganators were last on 26/7 so they have weeks before becomming a bot but they have a few great trainees including the 18 year old 6k MVP who hasn't played a minute so it is a pity.

I am very confused as to who or what you are training Wags, I look at your roster and see an 18 and 19yr old SGs that you are mixing up with Diam? I must admit I would've though Diakite would be still getting some training, I know he is getting a bit of for training now but I always assumed he was your centre piece.

Keep your eye on the Bogan Skyhook as you have both mentioned, the MVP is not getting trained so hopefully he does go bot and that talented trainee get the chance to make someone very happy, even if he misses out on a few weeks! He has another, 19yr old HOF that has plenty of potential as well...

I am confused too. But Diakite is capped - I have pushed him up to 5.485 potential, Sow is capped - I have pushed him up to 4.680 potential but it is slow going and not worth it so this season things have changed. All I can say is stay tuned and I hope for a big announcement in the next 24 hours.

That's what conference buddies are for :)

Seems to be the new trend to train the SF, with that statement I know that it is my focus and I presume Hippos will be doing the same and at least this one won't cap out on you Wags!

You don't need to worry in fact I bet the Beasts will be smiling. $500,000 on a trainee that could have been spent on an impact SF right now.

As you all know we have bid on so many players and missed out but we finally got lucky with our new man Paki.

There have been 9 recent transfers of 19 year old small forwards with XXX jump shot and MVP potential. Of these, the ones with skills most similar to Paki Mokitimi have been selling for around $ 500 000 to $ 1 450 000.

So even though we paid a lot we feel like we got a lot. We said how our previous trainees were low potential and that was a disaster, well now our 3 trainees are perennial allstar, superstar and MVP. So we don't think potential will be such a problem this time.

But before the Beasts and ACT get too happy we still have nearly a million in the bank and are still searching for that perfect SF, but they are really hard to find.

We have this game circled on our callender. So we need to find that next guy before then.

wow what a horrible game from the dreamers.

we turned it over 30 times :O and fouled about 490 times for the game! that full court press was devastating!

Neil was just tremendous on the offensive end! wanted to keep it to 20, we did, just :D

Chan fouling out early really screws my training this week, guess he gets to play a cup game against a bot :D

Hard luck mate, shame old mate Chan fouled his heart out, maybe that defence doesn't work for your lot! My finished mediocre as my PG got injured (in game thankfully) in the third, he was dominating Tabor at that point! Think with me picking MG I am the only 8 from 8 too :D

obviously havent seen Zed's new players ratings.. but i would reckon, if i got 1.2m for an all-star pot 23 year old 18k PF, i would be pretty damn happy with myself...

Seems like a lot to pay, my guys are slightly better than that and not worth near that much.

Well already it looks like a 2 horse race this season. 3 teams on 4-0 and no-one else looking near as good as the Beasts and ACT. At the moment this race looks like this

Beasts

ACT

Wagadugu Hippopotamuses
Everyone else.

Wow,

Dunno about that man.. I have the luxury of a fairly weak conference which is why I will stay up the top..

My advantage this season is the money, I am making over 100k a week due to a much reduced salary (145k) and sitting on a handy wad of cash already. Beasts will secure home ground as I think their is little doubt that he will lose more than 1-2 games, but as WAGs and MM showed last season that isn't the be all and end all.

Agreed to on Zed's player, I can't see how a player like that could be worth that, unless... He may have some strong secondaries as they don't affect your overall wage unless you are an SF (best pos). If this is the case he may train him with Gallot and Pablich..
