Yes, but the salary calculators that you are using, only have the skills at a 0, for example respectable (7,0), strong (8,0). But in game, the salaries are calculated, using also the decimal points of a skill, for example respectable (7,9) will have a different salary than respectable (7,0).
For a player to pop in rebounding due to the 10%, the decimal points increase of a skill like rebounding is going to be minimum.
So the difference between 7,9 and 8,0 in salary isn't big, but one shows respectable and another shows strong.

I always thought salary doesn't use skills' sublevels. Now that I know, I can be relieved as my training plan is hindered far less than I thought

From what I've heard, it uses, not 100% sure if it really does, but it does make sense because the sublevels make difference ingame, they should also make difference in the salary ;)

My bloated salary center popped in IS once last season, and also trained twice in OD (but only went up an unknown sublevel). His salary according to calculators should have risen by at least 37k. Instead it dropped 8k. The evidence disputes the theory, at least until prices tart going up on the TL!

So this proves salary uses sublevels as a reference?

I dont know exactly how the sublevels are treated in the salary calculation, but if sublevels are relevant this would change the whole thing and make it less harmful.

Did the salary formula changed this offseason? I think it did, and reduce the players salaries a bit.

Salaries of my non-trained players dropped a bit (the trained ones unfortunately want bigger wage), so I guess you're right.

Sublevels are definitely included in the salary formula. Otherwise, it should be possible to predict a players' salary almost perfectly using the coachparrot. Still there is about 10% variance in salaries for seemingly identical players, which stem from the subskills.

There isn't anything wrong with randomness, that's real life. Real life can be random and unexpected.

No, I don't think so. I wasn't trying to say that anyway. Although, sublevels do affect salary. My point was only that even getting a full pop in a core skill doesn't necessarily mean a wage increase these days.
