Hi,
I like these for the following reasons
http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/2199/world.png
They have the "feel" of the original bb icons without copying exactly. When displayed on the page it will be easy to differentiate from other trophies and thus give a manager an easy overview of his or opponents accomplishments.

Can you make the two "necks" of your trophy crisper. It looks like they are out of focus.
Create something (Anything) is so easy. 5 minutes and done. No shadows, no colour balance, just put orange ball on the stick and done... Man, I'm not working like that. It's like arrive to the art Contest "Draw the lion". U draw the lion, but understand that the winner is the guy who painted "Hello Kitty"
Making a clean design is often harder than making a splatter. Different approaches enriches a competition and there will always be differences in opinions. If you respect that, I think your chances would be better to get your design judged on fair grounds. Trying to threaten/force your will on others, ridicule or undermine other views or suggestions reveals a lack of understanding, and shows disrespect for fellow artists. Please be lenient while fronting your own suggestion.

I think you very clearly have a great knowledge and control of artistic design principles. Please do not mininterpret my criticism, I think aesthetically those trophies look really really good. I was only pointing out that they are in terms of their physical design (not artistic or aesthetic design) very similar to our existing trophies. I know it sounds very annoying to be like.. closer.. closer.. closer... TOO CLOSE! I should have tried to make myself more clear and appreciative of the skills you (and the other set's artist) obviously have.. and that we obviously lack.

You're second attempt will certainly be copyrighted by FIFA. It's just a 1 on 1 copy from the soccer worldcup, there is no way they'll allow it without payment I guess.

It think the idea of your other trophie is good, but the execution isn't. The lines are all shady and vague etc, it just doesn't look professional, if you could make that one look better I guess they can compete with moutlinho's ones, right now I don't think they can.

ucan most of the users dont understand sth ... good / original / the time we spend... i work with photoshop too ... to make sth with photshop is not easy enough .. it takes time but they cant understand it ...i cant get the trophies like it is now change the colours get an image and do sth "new" in just 5 min... but i can make a new one from the begin in 30 min and they wont have big difference ... just understand the time that somone spends from his day to make this ...

This post is totally irrelevant (and I also think it nonsense btw).

Making trophies at the request of the BBs here is voluntary, anyone can decide whether they want to put some of their time in efforts to create some or not. If you post your work here, you can and should expect criticism. If you can't handle criticism, you shouldn't post it. A good artist will read the criticism without being offended and will try to improve their work via the comments.
