Second Team:
Furabolos
In season 35 they were released at Wednesday/Thursday night, to be clear

It's not that important, but they were released on 28th Mai (Saturday). Anyway, the plans are to release them today.

I'm trying to build a non-LI team as well, and I'll have to re-adjust what my bigs will look like because of this change, but fortunately it's only a minor adjustment (probably 1 or 2 less PA on my bigs than they would have otherwise received). I don't mind this change, because salaries better reflect the calibur of players but if this was done to influence LI, I think there was flawed logic behind that.

Imo, if you want to reduce dominance of LI, make defending it easier; it could be done in a number of ways, including tinkering with 2-3 zone, or SB again.

OK, my fault, I'd been looking on last days of April on calendar when I was writing my post and that's why I made a mistake.
Anyway, that's a good news, as one of popular topics on forum says :p

he had 85+7 or 87+7 skills, 1 IS and 1 RB.

Found him:
Weekly salary: $ 34 819
Role: rotation player

DMI: 192700
Age: 33
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: superstar

Jump Shot: phenomenal Jump Range: prodigious
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: stupendous
Driving: marvelous Passing: strong
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: strong Free Throw: respectable

36,452>34,819 so -4.5%

I think most likely there is no change for any secondary around level 7-8.

I think they implemented some new stuff today, so they were waiting with the news because of that. Like the comparison button in the Transfer List (looks a bit weird, but I suppose someone could find it useful).

after reading exciting news the only thing we can be "excited" about is that TL prices that will for sure go even higher.
now what im wondering is why is there a witch hunt on people that can manage their economy better than others?
and my question after all this changes in ultimate couple of seasons is how do you catch up with top teams without trading or tanking?
what option is left to make money in this game? and please dont tell me training or promoting
you want to train? you need to train out of position=tanking+prepare 2M just for trainer and that 2M you get from where?
you pass from 3rd league to 2nd,you get 750k and you can buy what!?
you pass from 2nd to 1st league and you get 1,5M? what top player to streghten your team can you buy for 1,5M!?

yes you get that attendance boost but in general none of those things is enough.
if somebody can anwser this questions it will make my day.

It does seem odd to advertise this in advance as a way to stop LI dominance, when I think it would be clear to anyone that an outside offence requires outside skills on big men. I think what we'll see, as with other changes in the past that didn't quite work as intended, is that the BBs will stop saying it was to stop LI dominace and was just brought in to make people pay for secondaries on all players.

We have a winner in the prediction contest ;)
In top teams all players have good secondaries and had a salary raise hence no disadvantage for LI teams and in lower leagues LI bigs rely on offensive force without secondaries and dropped in salary.

I do think we need more players, in the sense that we need to find some balance between keeping training profitable and having decent talent available.

To me the key problem is that even if someone wanted to, you can't create your own team from scratch for D2 and above because training is too slow. This means that you must buy players to fill the roster, or that everyone's roster needs to be worse than it is today. How many players you need to buy depends on how fast you can train. How many players are available for you to buy depends both on how fast training is and what free agents are available after other teams go bot. The FA number is a function of the average number of teams going bot and the FA policy.

I think the BBs should rethink the ways they explored to incentivise training. First they removed other options (trading) then they reduced the stock of players. Reducing the stock of trained players or the average level of players does make training more profitable for sure, but also destroyed the economy of the game for a lot of managers (basically any manager not sitting in a bot league).

I'm not sure why in the current environment training cannot be made more profitable by increasing the training speed. What do they think would happen if training gets faster by 10-15% across the board?
