Just to point something out here, potential coefficients look like this.
      IS      ID      RB      SB
PF    0.40    0.40    0.40    0.20
C     0.46    0.46    0.46    0.25


SB is lower by ~20. I know your saying that it's not worth it for what it effects, but for half of a salary hit I now think it's definitely worth it.

Any evidence to say this?

Atleast when playing man to man SB should be almost as useful for guards as for centers, because everybody just follows their man if they drive or sth. In 2-3 zone SB is, I think, pretty useless for PG/SG like it says in the game manual.
