Prevent players from being sold or purchased after the All Star Week.
Increase the Player Salary Floor to 1.5x what it currently is.

disagree but close

they can still be bought & sold but arent eligible 4 playoffs

x 1.5 is high in abbl that would be $400k floor, but maybe x 1.2would be good

There's no need to prevent sales, just making players ineligible for playoffs would be sufficient.

Has there been any discussion about tanking? Can you link me to the threads if you have them handy?

The reason I want to prevent players from being bought and sold is simple.
By making it so that people can only buy in the first half of the season, I suspect that prices for players will rise.
So the market will increase substantially, back to how it was many seasons ago.

I think one of the reasons price reduction in the market is important is because it gives newer managers more of a chance to compete.

I haven't seen anything on the forums about it, but then I haven't really looked either.

I don't think raising the salary floor is a good idea. There are some teams who genuinely have difficulty getting along and shouldn't be punished for it over and above their tactical mishaps.

Perhaps an overhaul of the fan system would work? A tanking team - a team that constantly (not once or twice) loses by 30-60 - just doesn't get the crowds and, therefore, doesn't get the income.

Also they need to completely eradicate the ability for someone to forfeit a match.
Screwing with another teams Training minutes is not cool and I think that if a team does this, the minutes should still count or just something.
don't allow a team to have less than 4 players or something so that they can always by default field enough to allow the game to go ahead!

Yeah its beyond me why you only get 43min etc when someone doesnt set a lineup against you. Why not the full 48min. Hopefully this gets corrected!

Well I had a big back and forth with a few people in the general forums about the training minutes system. I think it's retarded that they require 48+ minutes to get full training. To get experience, absolutely, but not training. And why should a player have to play out of position to get training that is meant to be for a different position?

Definitely agreed about the forfeiting. It needs some kind of workaround.

I recently learnt that forfeiting will get you the first pick over teams that haven't forfeited throughout the season. They should definitely change that!
