haha yes, it will be an interesting game next up with your lot this week!

Yes it will and I havent ruled out making it a more even contest B)

Edit Welcome Agustin Camelo to the team :]

though you still have the best record in the league and that stands for a lot in my opinion.

Currently your team (edit) Had the most expensive roster and you have a HCA for this game (:|

I guess your desire to keep winning in the cup, probably cost you your 2 losess this season. *-:)

with regards to cash... yes, the bank account now without the extra CUP income will slowly erode away, as long as my arena remains at almost full capacity.

I dont want you going broke O:)

yeah, Shawn is getting older... its sad that their skill levels drop so quickly after reaching full potential, but i guess it keeps the game fair.

Aitkins has lost a few skills at 34 and I havent had a career extension trainer, but he is still handy.

Im not looking forward to Riviera starting to lose skills next season :`-( :`( :`-(

I generally run with a doctor with massage skills, I wonder if this helps stop skill drops

totally agree, depth has always been a major issue with this roster... 1 injury could mean an end of the season for the bull
s.

I believe come finals time when I start playing a few more players in each game, that I will have an advantage in depth *-:)

hahah i'm not sure of my record in this Div, but yeah, i'm pretty sure i've been in the POs more often than not. Don't recall a relegation series, but it might've happened earlier on.

From what Ive seen you have been remarkably consistent and deserve to have a run in the ABBL. (trophy) (*) (^)

Please excuse me for my own selfish self interest in trying to rob you of that opportunity this season

(j) }:>

Needing to win all 8 games away from home so as to break even in the cross over series, the Great 8 teams put in some great performances, but sadly managed to win only 4 of the 8 games.

The end result was that Big 8 teams had 8 more wins than the Great 8 teams or in other words the results of 4 of the games that the Great 8 teams lost needed to be reversed for the Great 8 to break even.

Great performances this round however with the Great 8 teams being away but still seeing; Unbeatables downing Tilley Thunder, the 6th placed Sand Hill Ants beating the 2nd placed Doncaster Flames and the Sydney Sea Eagles beating the tough Porirua and my mob beating JW.

In a self sacrificing bid to restore some pride to the Great 8 conference and also out of respect as to how hard some of the Great 8 teams are to beat, I am considering softening the single position training philosophy during the finals series and instead might train one of the 2 position formats (Jump shot, Driving or rebounding) so as to allow my young trainees to perform in their more natural positions.

Go the Great 8

Now, to try to figure out if it is actually the greatest draft ever, and you are just trying to take them all for yourself ;)

total domination man!! will have to re-think strategy if i am even going to get close!
McArthur totally shut down as well! 3-18 shooting was terrible, haven't seen a game like that from him EVER! :+(
Didnt even have to use your new pickup much either, fouling out. the local talent on your team seems strong enough... your guys must be really well balanced... playing all over the place, but still extremely effective! well done on the win and i hope to see the hopelessly addicted crew in the finals for a rematch! :@

Thanks for the kind wishes.

Yes very happy with the team and yes I have strict eligibility guidelines when it comes to recruiting players that gives a few of my players the ability to play above their salaries.

Took me near on 10 seasons in the game to work that out.

Am looking forward to seeing what Camello can do with some game shape.

Was absolutely wrapped to get him for the price I did as he has the capabilities to serve several roles for my team

will have to re-think strategy if i am even going to get close!

You really do deserve a run in the ABBL, but be a little wary as Im kind of a little bit motivated to get back up there my self, as my trainees salaries, especially Ryders, are all going to climb for next season

10 seasons to work out how to work out the best way to win isn't too bad... its going to take me at least 10 seasons to get out of division II and still not know what the best way to win is... @ the end of this season, it will mark a decade of the JW Bulls being in Div II... :|
yeah, he was a solid pickup, a bargain price. if only i was checking the TL when Melo was on sale... maybe i could have had a peak @ his skills :/ though being on the Colombian NT, he must be very balanced.

& being on my team he must be exceptionally well balanced.

Edit Having him on the team also means that I dont have to play any of my 3 trainees in a 2nd game each week which I assume will also reduce the chance of any of them sustaining an injury that would otherwise adversely affect their training

still not know what the best way to win is.

The game in many ways is more of a Management game than what it is a basketball game

From that understanding lots of the finer points of the game follow *-:)

It is very noticeable that you haven't followed your own advise.

(Edit Am assuming that the 658K purchase of a 33yo 31K a week PF was just a drunken mistake)

What would you have to gain if JW and I were to take your advise, and become financially crippled if one or both of us were not to promote? :?
