This change has been, like many other changes in the past, communicated way too late, way too poor and in a misleading fashion too.

This has been admitted by Perpete.

So what are you doing about this? Nothing. Instead you should have either postponed the change or have asked the userbase how this "feature" is liked.

I apologize in advance for my harsh words, but frustration is clearly winning the upper hand again.

Introducing ill-advised and bad/late communicated changes happened so often in the past and will happen in the future and just leaves the impression that the people in charge are either to dumb to learn, or to arrogant to listen to their customers/donors/contributors or whatever you like to call us.

Leave us alone with "has been admitted", just do your job right. Or find someone else who can do it.

When you are right, you are right

As I was told by a BB, in discussions such as this, especially where people are rightfully aggrieved sarcasm is not helpful. Indeed, I'd have thought it was the last thing you'd want to do with someone who is clearly frustrated, and a has a legitimate concern.

Sorry, but I don't see any sarcarm in my message, maybe the same frustration.

Okay, so we both are clearly frustrated. What's your suggestion to solve this problem?

Seems like everyone's concerns on this thread have been addressed with this rule change.

Obviously not those people who think the rule is targeting the wrong people and that tankers can still tank as easily as before.

Nah not really. The fundamental flaws are still there.

The News post is a strong indication they understand now that something is not quite right or didn't go as expected, possibly both with the overall plan AND the implementation. This is good, but it's also the bare minimum. It still leaves questions unanswered (mainly how do they plan to hit the same way D1 and D2 teams with bots in their leagues).

We could have spared a lot of bad blood and time posting if they had an open discussion with the userbase about this beforehand. Something like: "we are introducing anti-tanking measures next season and we would like your opinion on it". Most of the stuff would have come out right away.
