Can't believe you only got 400k for Edgar Strong. He was a virtual identical of my guy Terranova who I sold for 800k. Basically the same skills and age.

Edgar Strong is 1 year older which does not sound like much but it is 1 year closer to 30.

Edgar Strong is also injured for 2 weeks which means that he has to be paid his $96,260 salary for 2 weeks before he will play again. His game shape will most likely be lower for not playing for 2 weeks.

Like I said before it is a good time to buy but not to sell. I am not saying don’t sell, just don’t expect to make a big profit.

An exception would be those 18 year old players with hall of fame potential that can bring in $2.7 million as we all saw.

Some managers want them so badly that they are willing to get into bidding wars and overpay for them.

Anyway Flashover has a cool $1 million to work with plus whatever else was in reserve.

I see lots of teams wheeling and dealing while I stand pat with my D4 roster as I will continue to build up my small arena which is what I should have done long ago. My goal is still to stay out of last place.

Ah sorry I was slightly joking...I hope you get used to my "writing/typing" style. I tend to use sarcasm a lot. Sorry.

It sounds like I am the only one that complained about the fifth place team paying 50% salaries for one extra week. I am still not convinced but I will leave it alone for now. I have never finished in fifth place so I do not really know the financial consequences of doing so.

I assume that someone has tested this salary change with actual numbers to prove that it is the fair thing to do. If it was such a good thing then Buzzerbeater would not have waited 22 seasons to make this change.

This season I would not mind finishing in fifth place because it would keep me out of a dangerous relegation series against possibly Tachenko who will probably never leave this league.

Division III is as far as some of us will ever go which is nothing to be ashamed of.

That's part of my plan to finish 5th again. TIE the early games and bank enthusiasm. Unfortunately, there's now this pay 50% BS for finishing 5th.

;) good thing I did or else I would of been 0-2. I usually TIE up until the playoffs, but there was no way in hell I was going to start off 0-2 and have a fucked up attendance my next home game when I need all the cash I can get for what I'm planning on doing the coming weeks in regards to the transfer market.

No game recaps today. Michigan Blasters and Deadwood Gunslingers are banking their enthusiasm and they are much better than their record would indicate.

Even the over matched Gremlins chose to go with the flow on the road against a team that is better and richer than them.

Gimme The Hot Sauce is sitting pretty but the marathon has only just begun.

Philadelphia Phantasy has not yet been dominant but they survived a scare to avoid starting their championship run at 0-2.

In the battle of tankers Royal Challengers and Flashover played with what was left of a brilliant roster in a game that did not appear to be in D3.

Sorry if I over looked the Big 8. There were more games of course but these grabbed the headlines.

with that victory I'm 3rd in Great8 now, not a bad spot to start off in DIII.4!
