I thought to say this to Marin directly, but maybe best to filter through the EGM~

We need clarification on these two details, and announced (maybe announced with other details about draft etc.)

#1 Salary floor the first season. Will there be one? What will it be?

#2 (Following logic above) What will the TV money be for the first season.

#3 When the season is over, and DIII is populated, will ALL teams that go to DIII get promotion money or just the winners of the playoffs.

#4 How will TV money and salary floor be handled for DIII, DII, DI each season as teams promote? Similarly how/when will the DIV TV money and salary floor be calculated as normal (as they are everyone else). Obviously I ask #1~3 because these things wont be calculatable like a normal season/nation the first season. After that, sure, but at first... If it is not the same for all divisions, this will lead to some griping about unfairness etc. etc.....


PS. I may have missed if already announced, how soon will Nation99 have cup? For new teams in a DIV national champion cup money would probably be the largest chunk of change within arms reach.

You can ONLY play in Utopia with a second team? What a crock!

I'm an Australian living in Japan, and I only want to play in one of those two countries... for very obvious reasons. Not interested in some *wonderful free-for-all*.

I'm not against 2d teams, you know it.

Like kozlik4 said, neraly 1300 voters were against it.
You're right more (nearly 1500) were in favor. But you can't ignore that they were in favor of something described as totally different than now proposed.

Just to say that this poll, in a way or the other, is now meaningless. We absolutely have no idea if the community is in favor or not of Utopia as a 99th country.

I guess the best to launch democracy in BB would have been a first poll : are you for or against second teams ? And if the answer is "yes", then chose between "no frontier for second team", "99th country" or "2nd server". But what is done is done and you're right a Xth discussion is now meaningless.

Thing is BBs have open the box of Democracy and all kind of topics and polls are now opened. They could have extended the discussion in order to satisfy the maximum of managers. But it seems they already have taken their decision since people can register for 2d teams.

I'm very disappointed that Supporters have to pay for second teams. AND I'm very disappointed that the community was not involved in THIS decision. It started out with the "Poll: Should BB develop the second team for Supporters feature (even if I don't agree with all the specifications stated in this post)?"

This sparked a discussion, a discussion which I have no doubt inspired the ideas for the present decision. But as usual in discussions... the people with the biggest mouths were heard the most. I would have very much liked to see another poll and/or discussion about the final plan before just sending out a newsflash "IT HAS BEEN DECIDED!" The people with big mouths were heard and the masses were ignored.

I voted yes for an idea which is now completely lost. I would have voted no for the current idea.
