I am not so sure. He was really awesome player in skill totals, great defensive stopper, but kind of stuck between positions. I would definetely pay huge money for him nevertheless, but would make him get 3 more skill pops even if it took me entire season.

I overpayed for him for sure, but that's because I don't have time irl to wait to get someone at a good price. I had initially thought not to spend more than 3.7m for him.

I think this guy causes problems in the room, all those Canucks not going to like this guy.
You know how Canadians can be!

well, 4 more transfers like that and you have mismatches at every position and still decent team salary. Scary thought.

Green Machines in the cup....... are you sure you dont want to focus on getting HCA in the league? ;)

Interesting things happening all over the place. Who knows which team is going to get HCA in either of conferences?
3 horse race on blue side with LPP being only team not in the cup anymore (my money would be on Green Machines, hoping they lose in cup semis :D ), and 2 horse race in the red conference with Pszczyna Team still in the cup.

There are also 4 teams in red conference that are fighting for that elusive 4th and 5th spots with the losers going into relegation.

Also, beanerz just got into the playoff spot. He might be a dark horse this season but will have mountain to climb without HCA in any round if he can hold Sq United off.

It certainly is an exciting race in Naismith, which is not always the case.

Not sure I should be considered a dark horse as the top teams currently have far more talent than I do. However if the right players come along I am not sitting idle and will see what type of run the fourth seed can go on.

Nonono Beanerz has to conserve resources and go all-in next season.

Wow, bought for 410k and sold for 1.3mil. I really didn't see that happening.

Woo, finally a good transaction. I agree though, didn't expect it. Just listed him randomly because I noticed his EV was sky high (1.3-1.8M+) IIRC. His secondaries were literally mediocre so I mostly benefit from the market being so random nowadays. Edit: also, I must've gotten a nice deal on him cause 410k is crazy cheap for him).

Most of my other recent transfers I've lost on actual value (looking back, not Subrt, Hadley, or Tandini). Still.

Agreed, it was a mix of picking him up at a really good price and getting someone to follow the EV. But you have done well on transfers all things considered, that's definitely a weak point in my managerial skills.

Edit: Ernst is a good example of my lack of skills in the transfer market.

Heh, just noticed you used to own Ernst. Shocked at how low each of his transfers have been considering how solid he is. Hope I can profit at deadline but unlikely due to GS. Should break even at least...
